Part 8: What a drag

The next day

It's been a long time since I hung out with these guys. We had the rest of the week and next week off for preparations of an upcoming school event. I spent my time skating and playing guitar. I met up with Maikeru and Jeirin-kun at the flowery meadow. We spent time together absorbing the sun and finding peace within ourselves. We all deserved time to have fun and be teens for a chance instead of school by day and demons by night. We then went to the arcade to play games. I felt like a kid again because this was our favorite hangout as kids. We spent hours playing fighting games and eating hot dogs and burgers. We left to go home, but then we saw the darkness come. A demon that looked like me appeared. I thought it was playing tricks but then it multiplied itself into 5 clones and attacked us. Maikeru forgot his sword and Jeirin forgot his gear and I didn't have any powers. We took a beating and it felt like we were close to dying. The demon closed in on us and we all braced ourselves. But when I opened my eyes, I saw myself... literally. I saw 5 clones of myself protecting us. It seemed like I awaken to my power when I was going to face defeat against myself. The demon laughed but then he realized he was outnumbered. I stood with my clones as we cracked our fist. The demon screamed as we charged him. The brutality unleashed upon him was very severe as he was combined into one again and experienced heavy damage and internal injuries. I became one again and punched the demon in the jaw, killing him. He disappeared and the darkness vanished. We finally ended the madness for tonight and vowed to always be prepared for the next battle

Later that night

(An ominous voice laughed and said "it's time to destroy him. Maikeru once and for all"!! Maniacal laugh continues. Fade out*)
