Part 9: Meet dark Maikeru

POV: Maikeru

The next day

So everyone gathered at the meeting spot early today. It was around 11 AM when we decided to have an important meeting. Jeirin, dressed as Jackor, noticed Āron didn't come. We all figured maybe he was asleep after getting over his depression. So we decided that today we would have this meeting on how we finally rid the world of this darkness forever, I said as I sat in the chair typing on the computer. Monikū suggested we find out the cause first which I thought was a good idea and Jeirin and Toriano looked at each other and said they must have a leader. I stopped typing as everyone looked worried. I got up and walked to the window and saw someone that look like me but felt like he was some kind of evil. I quickly looked again but I saw nothing. I told them that we have to find the leader and stop this madness. After they nodded, we ended the meeting and everyone left. I sat on my bed thinking about what I saw just now. I fell asleep thinking on it.

Later that day

POV Monikū

I went with the rest of the team to go shopping for the final battle after we left Maikeru's house. We all grabbed our equipment before going to the mall. We walked down the halls and entered various stores looking at clothes. Suddenly the power went off and then the sky had gotten dark. We all looked surprised and scared 'cause we predicted that the darkness would only come at evening. The glass from above shattered as someone fell through. Who landed on the ground was non other than Maikeru, but something was off. I felt darkness come from him. He stood up and looked towards us with his dark red eyes, the same color as blood. He smiled as he jumped up with his sword out and swung at us, only for his attack to be blocked by Jackor's gauntlet. He jumped back and laughed. "The one you're looking for his non other than your precious leader." We all gasped thinking it was a lie. "I am the darkness, hatred, and jealousy of your leader. And it was he who created the darkness that brough the demons along with me into your world. So right here I will destroy you all! "He laughed evilly and dashed off to perform his 6-killer cuts move. We all stood helplessly to his speed and stench of evil and fear that we couldn't even move a finger. We all thought that it was the end for the world.

POV: Maikeru

I felt something wrong going on and knew my friends were in danger. I quickly headed towards their location to save them. When I got to the mall, I saw my dark half about to cut Tillena and Shawnielle first. I quickly dashed in front of them and blocked the attack that created a forceful shockwave. He laughed at me as I stared aggressively at him. I admitted to my friends that my existence was a curse and that me being alive brought the darkness here today. They all looked at each other worried yet confused. I sighed as I pushed the shadow back. He laughed even more. "Where's your friendship now boy?! " I looked down as a fireball made of paint hit him. He became angry as I looked behind me. "Don't ever talk about my Maikeru-kun again!! "Shawnielle said angrily. I smiled as I held my sword tight and dashed at him. He was very angry at Shawnielle that he didn't pay attention to my attack, the 6-blade true strike. He began to bleed as he escaped the mall through the hole in the air. We all looked up towards the sky. It's not over yet guys.
