The Ninja had arrived at Stiix's the town that existed on stilts above the water.
When they were walking across the board walk they saw a fisher man standing on a sign.
"Welcome to Stiix oh, and watch your step" he added after Jay tripped. The pole started to strain toward the water.
"Ooh, I caught one it's a big fella! Gah! Whoa! Whoa" The fisherman shouted as he was dragged off the sign and fell into the water.
The Ninja ran to the edge to look to see if he was okay.
They turned back to see Kai sitting down and freaking out.
"I didn't know you were afraid of heights." Jay said
the walk way was high up from the water.
"I'm fine with heights its water I hate." Kai admitted
"Didn't seem to have a problem before." Zane said
"Before, I could make a fire dragon at will since Morro's taken over Lloyd, and our power is gone, I haven't felt--" Kai said
but then the board under him broke and he fell he was barely able to hold on to the boards to keep from falling into the water.
"Well, now that we know ghost don't like water either at least we should feel safe surrounded by it." Cole said as he pulled Kai up.
"Misty do your powers still work?" Kai asked
"They do..." Misty said
"Why haven't you use them then!" Cole asked
"Yeah they might have been useful when fighting that ghost!" Jay shouted
"Because my element is as stable as this bridge!" Misty shouted back "Don't you think I would have tried to use it by now if I knew it was safe!" she stomped her foot down angrily her temper rising, and her foot made a hole in the board she was standing on..
The ninja back up and away from her they hadn't seen Misty as mad as she was now in a very long time.
They watched as Misty tried to tug her foot free but it was stuck.
"Can one of you give me a hand!?" Misty asked she Still sounded pretty mad.
Kai shook his head and muttered too the others "If she gets mad again she might break the rest of the board and send me tumbling in the water. You do it Cole."
"I'm not doing it... she's probably mad at me for just asking, Jay can do it." Cole said
"Me?! I'm not doing it! Zane's the leader he should!" Jay argued
Zane shrugged and he walked over to Misty and helped pull her free.
"Thank you Zane..." Misty sighed
"Your Welcome." Zane said
And the group walked into the town.
Jay was holding his nose
"Gah what a dump you'd think the thief who stole the scroll of Airjitzu would have better taste." Jay complained
"Uh, this is Ronin we're talking about. He'd steal the sea if it were worth anything we just have to figure out which rock he's under and get to the scroll before Morro does." Cole said
"Let's split up and start looking" Zane said
The Kai, Misty and Cole were inside a pawn shop.
"Wait a minute this is my dad's blade cup trophy what's it doing in a pawn shop?" Cole said
"Selling stolen goods? sounds like we might have stumbled on the right place." Kai said
Misty heard whistling "And I think I hear the rat now." she growled
Ronin walked out of the back carrying a vase.
Jay and Zane jumped down behind him.
"Ronin? Going so soon?" Jay asked
"If this is about our last encounter, I- it was only business." Ronin said
"You left us in the mouth of the---" Kai began
"I see your still upset about that let me make it up to you." Ronin said and he pressed a button "Ah Ah!" He shouted a net came down but it didn't catch the ninja.
"Uh, that was a mistake I- I can explain that." Ronin said
Cole scoffed "Nothing here is legit, not even you!" Cole said
"Yeah and I bet your air ship isn't far what do you call it again Rylo? Ruby?" Jay said
"Rex and could you have a little sympathy? I sold her so I could buy this place as you can see, I'm trying to make an honest living." Ronin said
"Honest?! You call honest by selling stolen things?" Misty said
"Misty's right honest enough to steal the scroll of Airjitzu?" Kai said
"The scroll of Who-Wat-Zu?" Ronin said
"Airjitzu! It can make a Spinjitzu Master fly!" Jay said
"Yeah, so hand it over or we can make you fly!" Cole said and he threw something against he wall that broke.
"Whoa, whoa cool down, guys even if I had such a thing it sounds pretty old and important. Definitely not something I'd keep on site, and definitely too much for you to afford. Maybe I can interest you in some unique weaponry? I got jade blades, obsidian Armor." Ronin said
"Do you have anything that can vanquish ghost?" Zane asked
"Hmm, ghost you say?" Ronin muttered
"Yeah, they hate water, but we're not looking for water balloons, we need something reliable." Cole said
"Hmm. what you're looking for is an aeroblade, forged by deepstone, an aquatic material mined from the bottom of the ocean. Very unique, even more expensive." Ronin said
"Can't you see he's giving us the runaround?! We want the scroll Ronin!" Kai shouted "What do you want for it?"
"200" Ronin said
"We don't have that kind of dough!" Jay said
"Come on, you guys once had the golden weapons. you honestly telling me you've never pinched anything?" Ronin said
"No we don't pinch and we don't even have pocket." Kai said
"What if we were to tell you all of ninjago depends on it?" Cole said
"Well then that changes everything! 400." Ronin said
"You can't just double the price!" Jay shouted
"My shop my rules." Ronin said
The ninja circled up
"All right so my gut says...." Kai began to say
"What do you think, Zane?" Cole asked
"What my opinion doesn't matter ?" Kai said
"We don't listen to you gut anymore Kai. Zane's the leader you just get us lost. " Jay said
"I say we give him what he wants. I sense if we won't Morro will." Zane said
"All right, but let me negotiate." Kai said
