Struggle for Control 48

Morro now had what he need, him and his friends had taken the Samurai X suite.
But the chest plate had been destroyed. Morro could feel Lloyd fighting him for control, especially hard when he thought about Misty. She reminded him so much of Lily.
Lily had been kind and loving, she had gone with him when he went looking for the tomb.
Even though he found it slightly annoying that as they traveled she tried to convince him to go back.
He wonder though if he had listened to her would he be a ghost... from the cursed realm and serving the Preeminent. probably not... he decided he never found out what happened to Lily though he didn't see her ghost in the cursed realm then again he hoped he would never see it there.
As he wondered about the out come of what if he had listened he felt Lloyd wondering the same thing, and Morro saw in Lloyd's mind a memory of him saying goodbye to Misty and reassuring her he would be okay.
-Flash Back-
"No... I'm serious Lloyd, I feel like you might be in danger if you go. Please let me go with you." Misty said
"They asked for just me though," Lloyd said
"Exactly it's strange for them to ask for only one ninja."
"I assure you nothing is going to happen to me Misty, and beside even if there was a slight chance of something bad happening I couldn't forgive myself if you got hurt."
"But..." Misty began to say
Lloyd then kissed her on the side of the face and said "I promise I'll come back." and he gently let go of Misty's hand and summoned his dragon and flew off.
Lloyd turned to look at Misty and he saw she was standing there watching him leave with a extremely worried look on her face. He hoped that he'd be able come back to her and show her there was nothing to be worried about.
-End of flash back-
Morro chuckled and said "If only you had listened to her... Lloyd things might be different..."
-Lloyd's Point of View-
He was still struggling against Morro for control. He saw Morro kiss Misty in Ronin's shop and recently take Nya's Samurai X suite.
He struggled he could also see Morro's thoughts he was thinking of Misty and how she reminded him of a girl name Lily. He saw that Lily had tired to warn Morro of a danger in the future but he didn't listen which lead not only to his death but the death of Lily as well.
Seeing this Lloyd was remembered, When Misty had tried to warn him or at least convince him to let her go with him.
-Flash back-

Misty began to say Lloyd realized Misty wasn't going to let go anytime soon. so he kissed her on the side of the face he knew that would cause her to let go mostly out of shock, then he said "I promise I'll come back." and he gently let go of Misty's hand and summoned his dragon and flew off.
Lloyd turned to look at Misty and he saw she was standing there watching him leave with a extremely worried look on her face. He hoped that he'd be able come back to her and show her there was nothing to be worried about. His words I promise to come back rang in his ears. They were also what he thought of when Morro first possessed him.

Where ever Misty was then Lloyd hoped she was safe, and that she hadn't forgotten.
