It was time. 1:13 am, Emily was asleep. It was chilly outside, perfect weather for the day. Jason was warming up the car. And the mom was seeking for Emily in her room. "Wake up, Em it's time" she whispered lightly. Emily woke up smiling, "Really?" she asked. She was feeling all these different emotions, scared yet excited.
The three got in the car, and drove out of the drive way. Soon they were on the highways, it was just a few miles away from the monster of a father they had. Jason on the wheel and mom in the front seat and Emily in the back. "Mom, were are we going?" Emily asked. "It's a surprise, cause remember, we are starting over" Ms. Amy said. They were going to Chicago, in the city. It's a big place from were they are from. They are or should I say were from Florida.
Emily couldn't go back to sleep because of the excitement. She listened to the sounds outside, calm. She thought, calm and silence. She loved the sound of the tires rolling on the road. She loved how the crickets sound. It was 2:59 am, she couldn't wait to find out were they were going.
~day 2~
Just a couple of more miles and they're there. Emily imagined everything, she even thought about stopping drinking. She wanted to be another person, she wanted to change. That nothing is wrong with her. She's a good girl with straight A's, but she wants to feel something, besides hate.

Jason pulls into a parking lot, and gets the stuff, "Emily close your eyes. I want you to be surprised." Jason said giving her a blind fold. Emily put on the blind fold and grabbed her mom and follow them.
"So many damn steps," Emily said. Its 5 in the morning and she was yip yeping disturbing the neighborhoods. It felt like forever to Emily.
"Open" Emily took off the blind fold and saw a two floor apartment. When you walked into the apartment, you walked into the living room, then the kitchen then the beautiful outside view. There were two stair case and had four bedrooms. It was perfect.
Emilys mom already got at job, and so does Jason. Emily starts school tomorrow. That's when she figured it out, they had everything planned out for a perfect life.
