Emily puts everything in her school dresser, she even sneaks in a bottle of liquor. She made her bed, lilac purple and blue. She had some posters of her favorite bands: Green Day, Mayday Parade, MCR, P!ATD, The 1975, Arctic Monkeys, One Direction, etc. Now don't think Emily is too old for One Direction. They made her life, they saved her in somewhat musical moment during the horrible past.
"So you like One Direction, aye" asked Mel, "Yea, they mean a lot to me actually." Emily replied smiling to herself like a fool. She sure would love to see them in person someday and tell them how much they mean to her. It'd be the best thing in the world, she thought.
"Well, did you know," Mel said in a cool active voice, "the boys we meet earlier today, you know, Ash, Cal, Luke, and Mikey," She remind her, but She could only think of Luke, and how out going he was. "yes, I remember, the ones who are across from us," Emily said, wanting to get to the point. "Well, they have a band," Emily laughed out loud, and started crying, it was the most funniest thing she heard all day. "they, have a band," she started laughing even more. "they play at the student lounge at 12, if you want me to show you," now Emily was really interested, "what's there name ?" she asked, "5 seconds of summer," Emily laughed and so did Mel, but it was okay.
Emily got to her classes and had most of them with Mel and Luke.
But she had one class with all of them together, and that was 2nd period and 4th period.
Emily tried not to laugh when she made eye contact with any with them, it just scared her that those four were in a band. I mean c'mon, she thought, those boys?
When her eyes met Ashton, it felt weird. He was making out with a girl. Not the sight we want to see, but Emily understood, and felt cool about it. Even though she new he was the towns biggest Frat Boy, that's a reason why she started laughing, he was a FRAT BOY. A frat boy who has a band!
It was 12 and everyone was at the student lounge, but Mel and Emily has the best seats, Ashton was the drummer, Luke and Michael was on guitar, and Calum was bass.
"We're 5 seconds of summer and we're gonna play try hard ," Luke said, Emily like the lyrics, 'She's dropping out of school cause she don't need the grades'
'The colors in her hair don't seem to fade' Emily's hair was light lilac.
'Sitting here at home, it's obvious she's so out of reach'
Emily began to tear up, but stopped when the song ended. Boy was she wrong about these four. It was nothing she had expected.
They went to a new song called 'Long way home'
The song were really good and great, but they just made her depressed. Empty in a way, only when they performed.
When the mini concert ended, Emily took a seat in the lunch room, alone thinking about life. 5sos was going to be rock stars, no doubt about it. they have their whole life ahead of them, and Mel has her plan all sorted out. But t her life was messed up. It's like she doesn't even know what to do anymore.. But when she listened to their performance..
It's like she couldn't give two shits about her future..
