"Never forget who was with you from the start."
"Sky!?" Voices cry out in the house.
I bolt up in the chair in my mother's sitting room, my eyes struggling to open from sleep. A dim light glows through the windows, indicating it to be early morning. Rubbing my eyes, I look around, seeing the door only a crack open.
I guess I accidentally fell asleep when I sat down, I think as I rub a kink in my neck from the awkward sleeping position I was in.
Barely registering the sounds of my crew yelling around the house, I stand and run my hands through my hair. Before I can fully comprehend their yelling, the door swings open quickly, revealing Jax, who looks frantic. He's still wearing his sweats and a t-shirt from our slumber party in my room, and his hair is disheveled, as if he just woke up.
As his eyes land on me, his entire body seems to deflate and relax. "Thank God. We've been looking everywhere for you Sky," he mutters as he closes the distance between us and pulls me into a tight hug.
"We're on lockdown, where'd you think I went?" I ask sarcastically.
He shrugs as he pulls away. "Well, we couldn't find you so we weren't going to rule out kidnap just yet." He turns towards the door and cups his hands around his mouth. "I found her guys! She's alright!"
Soon, everyone has run to the room, squeezing me into hugs.
Zack groans. "Don't ever scare me like that again! I don't know what I'd do without you," he complains as he throws his arms around me.
Bash hangs back, letting the others hug me before pulling me into his warm embrace. He doesn't say a word, instead just placing a kiss on top of my head before he pulls away, keeping his hand on the small of my back.
"Sorry to scare you all; I didn't plan on falling asleep in here," I admit, feeling a little stupid.
"Wasn't this your mom's room?" Zack asks, looking around the room, everyone else following suit. I nod, shifting a little closer to Bash, finding comfort in his presence since he is the only one in the group that knew my mom before she got sick.
"Um, why don't we head downstairs and make some breakfast?" I suggest.
Jax snorts. "As long as you're not the one making it, I'll eat it."
I roll my eyes. "Rude, but, understandable."

Lockdown went by pretty fast. We spent the last day doing a lot of stuff. Being the hardworking leader I am, I decided to make us do a workout, a very extensive ones. The crew didn't share my enthusiasm of working out but did it anyway because they love me. After that, we did some target practice in the basement, but everyone slowly started holding conversations instead of actually shooting.
Then, I dragged them all upstairs into the combat training room and we did a few rounds of hand-to-hand fighting. That only lasted for about ten minutes before everyone started goofing off and acting stupid.
"Guys, this is definitely not a technique you will be using," I comment as I look down at the stopwatch in my hand and then at Zack and Jax on the floor.
Jax has Zack pinned beneath him, knees keeping Zack's arms at his sides so he can't grab Jax. To top the whole thing off, Jax has a loogie suspended above Zack's face.
"Sky, tell him to stop!" Zack complains, squirming beneath Jax, a look of pure disgust on his face.
Jax slurps up the loogie, looking up at me. "What do you mean this isn't a technique I'll be using? It seems pretty damn effective," he states.
