Hiccup finally had the chance to be the Viking he never was. But he never brought down the knife. Instead, he freed the most notorious dragon ever known in Berk. But what if this one simple act of kindness resulted in Hiccup's life changing in a way...
After the new dragons had finished receiving greetings and salutations, the Night Fury family loomed towards them. Before the teenage Fury could even speak, a rumbling sound echoed through the chamber, getting louder and louder with each passing second.
The dragons cut their reunion short and headed for the exit. Every reptile stood on the cliffs of the nest and the surrounding beach, witnessing something enormous head right towards them.
A 200-foot rouge wave hurled towards the island, carrying a massive streamlined passenger liner with it. The wave's energy was enough to capsize the ship, crashing it into the nest.
Dragons panicked as they held on for cover, but it was no use as island started to tilt vertically. Stalactites loosened their grip as they fell from the ceiling, while Snotlout and Fishlegs crashed into stalagmites. Ruffnut and Tuffnut meet their fates as steel girders and fiberglass impaled them with the cavern walls. Dagur avoided death when a diesel engine fell through the ceiling, but could do nothing as nightclub lights slid onto him and electrocuted him. Astrid flew as much as her wings could carry her, until a bow thruster propeller caught up to her and sliced her like a Timberjack slices through trees. The Night Fury family tried to reach the safety of the other side of the island, but the increasing angle of the cave floor caused them to fall into the water. Hiccup covered the hatching with his arms as he awaited the inevitable.
The wave and the cruise ship engulfed the island completely, leaving no sight of any life anywhere within a ten mile radius. And then they all died...
