Hiccup was about to greet his all-but-forgotten friends until the ground started to shake. The dragons cocked their heads in confusion as huge chucks of ice fell form the ceiling of the nest onto a few unsuspecting reptiles. Water started to seep through the cracks in the stone walls, creating a torrent of ice-laden liquid. All Hel broke loose as the dragons started to run or fly to nearest exit. The water was extremely cold, causing a few dragons to slip into hypothermia as their inner fires extinguished from the sudden drop in temperature.
Snotlout sprang for the exit as cinders and ashes spewed from a collapsing funnel, killing him instantly. Ruffnut and Tuffnut crashed into each other face-to-face as lavish furniture fell on top of them, injuring them from wood splinters and decorative patterns. Fishlegs was crushed as a boiler rolled on top of him, exploding in a fury of hot water and steam. Dagur avoided getting flatten by a falling turbine engine, but could do nothing as two massive reciprocating engines crashed and crumpled him in a shower of lightning and sparks. Astrid tried to avoid the falling debris until she met her fate at the hands--or blades--of a bronze propeller, slicing her back from the inside. Hiccup and the Night Fury family sprinted to reach the safety of the beach but were met with an alarming visitor approaching the shore: an enormous four-funneled passenger liner heading straight for them, pushed by a tidal wave of icebergs and glaciers. There was no escape as the liner listed to her port side and collided with the island, crushing and drowning everyone within the nest...
