senior classroom.

"Everyone sit down! Yes, I'm talking to you, please... Okay, can I start now?" The teacher glared at the class. He wasn't surprised everyone was excited. The students were seeing their friends after a long Summer and this was, after all, their last year of high school. "We're going to do a round of presentations."

Not even a single person in the whole class didn't complain about the teacher's idea. No one liked the round of presentations. No one liked to say a couple of fun facts about themselves. But they had to do it anyway.

"I'm Kangmin, soccer captain." A faint chuckle was heard at the back of the classroom, and no one was precisely amused by the captain. "Well, I just... That, I like football."

Katana eyed Chia-Ling and Haewon, who were sitting on the desks beside her. "So impressive, huh?"

The two chuckled at the sarcastic comment. "He probably feels like he needs to brag about it because he has a..."

"You three back there, what is so funny?" The girls looked at the teacher and at the few students who were now facing their way.

"Nothing," Chia-Ling mumbled.

"Then you can stand up and tell us about you?" She nodded and stood up, fixing her leather jacket because of the uncomfortable school chair.

"I'm Chia-Ling, you can just call me Chia." But no one besides her friends would ever dare to call her by the sweet nickname. The teacher raised an eyebrow in an attempt for her to continue speaking. "I'm from Taiwan, and... Some of you don't seem very fond of me."

She turned to a figure at one side of the room, a student she had never interacted with but who, however, averted her gaze.

"That's enough, you can sit." Haewon chuckled and patted her friends arm as soon as she sat down. "You, stand up."

"Oh, yes." With a sweet smile, Haewon sloppily stood up and looked at the teacher waiting for a question.

"Introduce yourself...?"

"Oh, right! I'm Haewon, just Hae is fine, and I mean it." She giggled, referencing the previous presentation about her friend. "I like... Flowers and drawing."

"We can see that, sunshine." Katana said pointing at her own head, mimicking Haewon's delicate flower crown. She looked at the Japanese girl with a slight pout. If there was something she didn't like, it was being called sunshine.

"Alright you can sit, the third one, stand up." The teacher motioned Katana to stand up and she happily did, a smile decorating her face.

"I'm Katana, from Japan but you could have figured that one out and I like honey." She shrugged looking at the teacher. "Enough information or...?"

"Sure, just... Sit down." The male seemed done already with the trio and both the class and the school year had barely started. "Okay, continue, please stand up."

A soft-looking brown haired stood up, you could notice his tired features and slow motion.

"Definitely sleep-deprived." Chia mumbled, the other two nodding in agreement.

"I had enough sleep, thanks." The three raised eyebrows in surprise at the sudden but seemingly soft snap. "Anyway, I'm Renjun, I like drawing... Not much more than that."

And without waiting for the teacher to tell him to sit down, he did.

"Okay, Renjun... Now you." A black-haired stood up showing everyone his sweet smile, which reached his eyes making them turn into a couple of crescent moons.

"I'm Lee Jeno, I really love rescuing stray animals and finding a new place for them to live in." The teacher nodded and the cute boy sat down.

"He's so cute." Haewon said, earning agreement sounds from her friends.

"His smile makes me soft." Katana looked at Chia, who had made the comment, with a slight smirk.

"And how often does that happen?"

"Oh, shut up."

"Okay, next, stand up."

"I'm Mark Lee." The boy said as he stood up, almost tripping with his own foot. "I'm from Canada so, hey" he said in English. "And I'm new here."

"Very well, we'll make sure to treat you well, right everyone?" The class nodded disinterested and everyone eyed the clock, waiting for it to ring since Mark was the last one to be introduced.

"Where are we sitting at lunch?" Haewon asked at her friends, who turned to her.

"I'm going with Jaemin to ask him how was his class." Katana said without giving too much attention to the topic.

"Oh, Jaemin." Chia said teasingly.

"You know he's just my best friend." She raised an eyebrow at her friend, who smiled back.

"For now." Chia stood up right when the bell rang and exited the class before anyone else.

"What do you think she meant by that?" Katana looked over at Haewon, who was taking flowers out of backpack. "Who are those for?"

"New people or the ones that aren't happy about starting high school."

A sincere smile bloomed on Katana's lips. "And then you ask us not to call you sunshine."

"Because I don't travel at three hundred million meters per second." Haewon said standing up and putting her new yellow Kanken backpack over her shoulder.

"If you say so."
