After that nerve-wreaking exchange of conditions, the boys realized how gay they sounded. They both didn't like their conclusions about each other, too. The boys have only been together for 3 days. They can't possibly trust each other that much, although their goal is to take each other's trust.

They awkwardly shifted on their own chairs, and after a few uncomfortable throat-clearings, they decided to sleep it off.

"I'll carry you to bed." Miong finally stood up.

"W-wait. What if I stay here for a while. I, um, uh, wants to see the city night lights more, uh." Appy was explaining.

Miong immediately caught on. The boy is uncomfortable to carried at this moment. Like he thought, Appy is an open book. "Well, I'm sorry for making you uncomfortable."

Appy's face went red. He covered his face, and from there, he muffled his reply behind his hands. "No, no, no. I, uh. I'm not thinking anything about it. Duh, don't be so silly."

Miong blushed, too. He awkwardly scratched his neck, a gesture he never thought he would do. Just how awkward could the atmosphere get? "It's already 10 pm. Let's sleep. I have class tomorrow."

"WE'RE GOING TO SLEEP TOGETHER?" Appy immediately covered his mouth. Oh, that shouldn't have been weird. They're both guys. It's normal for guys to be close, to change clothes in front of each other, and to sleep in one bed during sleepovers. But why is this so weird?

'Because I don't know him that much.' Appy tried to console himself.

"I understand if you don't want. I mean, I'm a stranger. I'm sleeping on the sofa." Miong said, still scratching his neck.

"What?" Appy inquired, quite puzzled. "You don't have an extra room here?"

"It's a bachelor's pad. I already told you this is the only bed here. And it's not like I'm letting you sleep on the sofa." Miong explained.

"No I'm fine with the so..." Appy failed to finish his sentence when Miong abruptly scooped him from his wheel chair. "Careful!"

"I'm sorry." Miong, quite carelessly, laid Appy on the bed, making him fall on top of the boy who's getting more and more flusttered. Appy immediately pushed Miong away then took a pillow to make a distance between them. "Ah, I'll be careful next time."

"Y-yeah."

Miong pulled away, walking towards the sofa. From there, the first thing he could see was Appy's slender feet, but the sofa is high enough so that he could see Appy's face. The moonlight enters the giant glass wall, which enabled him to see Appy's blank emotion looking at the moon.

"Miong." the boy called, not bothering to look at him.

"Yeah."

"This place is high. Nobody else can see us here but the moon."

"S-so?" Miong, at that moment, had the most inapproriate thoughts.

"Can you please close the curtain. It's so open I can't feel privacy."

"Ah, yeah. On it." Miong stood up to close the black-out curtain (a curtain that totally inhibits the passage of light) using a remote. He set the remote on the lamp table beside the bed, within the boy's reach.

"Thank you."

"Yeah." Miong went back to his sofa. He's too embarrased of himself for thinking such things. They're both guys, and he's taking care of him in the most intimate manner, so he shouldn't make things more awkward between them.

As he was about to close his eyes, Appy called again. "Miong."

"Yeah." He answered.

"Water."

Miong stood up and went to the kitchen. He's very sleepy, but he has a self-mandated, or Appy-propositioned duty to attend. He took a pitcher of cold water from the ref and a transparent plastic cup. He gave the cup to Appy then set the pitcher on the lamp table. He gently helped Appy stand in a sitting position, but before the boy could get the plastic cup, he said;

"My stomach is really sensitive with cold water. Can I have a luke warm water instead?"

Miong breathed, but he cannot refuse. He took the pitcher from the stand, threw out the cold water to the sink and replaced it with luke warm water. He set both things on the lamp table, but as soon as he was to assist Appy, he saw the boy's face peacefully sleeping.

"What a piece of shit." He breathed.

"I fucking heard that." Appy groaned, then shifted his face on the other side.

Well, at least that killed the awkwardness between them. Miong slept, not peacefully, but deeply at least.
