It was 2 nights ago that the storm had hit, not only in the village but in your life. He had left that night and said he would go stay with his brothers, you didn't want him to leave, saying that you could talk it out but wanted nothing to do with you at this point. You begged him but still, he left, not thinking of everything that you both had built in the last 2 years. But since then you wanted to talk to him about a divorce, you knew he didn't love you anymore, that he wouldn't care if you left.

Now you were on your way to your stepbrothers, Hvitserk, Ivar and Sigurd, Ubbe had said that night that he would be going to stay with his brothers. You were just outside they're house when the door open and Hvitserk was coming out the door. He saw you and brought you into a hug.

"Hey Y/N. Wasn't expecting a visit from you today." You smiled at him

"Well I wanted to come see my favorite Brothers, and I kind of wanted to talk to you guys about something." You thought you spoke softly, but you could tell from the look on his face you obviously didn't.

"Hey guys, guess who came to visit us!" Hvitserk yelled into the cabin and you could hear a big ruckus as they both came to see who he was talking about. You smiled to yourself thinking that they both are trying to get here first. Always a competition between those two. Ivar appeared first, then a limping Sigurd. You chuckled lightly,

"Hvitserk can you not keep these two from ripping each other apart?" They laughed at you shaking your head at them.

"Ubbe is the only one who can do that. He always wanted them to get along." You nodded your head understanding what Hvitserk meant.

"Speaking of Ubbe where is he?" You asked them, they looked at you confused.

"He hasn't been here since you came to visit last week. But what do you mean where is Ubbe? Isn't he with you?"

"No. He did something couple nights ago and he left saying he was going to be staying with you." They looked worried.

"Is everything okay with you guys? You guys just about never fight." Ivar asked. You shook your head.

"Let's go inside and we can talk about it then." They let you pass by them and then they followed. You sat on a stool and Sigurd sat by the fire, Hvitserk put a stool next to you then went to sit on his bed, Ivar pulled himself onto the stool. After they were situated, they just looked at you expectantly.

"I actually came to talk to him about a divorce." You could tell that hit Ivar hard, he's always thought of you as a sister, even before you and Ubbe got married. Hvitserk and Sigurd looked like they knew why.

"What happened?" Sigurd asked.

"Well 2 day ago he went to practice with Ivar and he didn't come home all day. So, I stayed up waiting that night, especially with the storm I was worried. He finally came home, and it was late, so I ran to him and hugged him. All I could smell was another girl on him. I backed away from him quickly and he must have been able to tell so before we could talk about it he left saying he was going to be staying here." Ivar was angry, his fists were clenched, Hvitserk and Sigurd both just sat there not surprised.

"So, you guys have not talked or seen each other since then?" Ivar asked. You shook your head

"Sadly, no we have not. I would like to get this over with. It's humiliating, how could he do this? Would you guys know who he has been with?" Hvitserk and Sigurd looked at each other then looked at you.

"Me and Hvitserk saw him with Torvi going to the woods." It hurt you to think one of your friends could do this to you.

"When was this?" They looked nervous

"Last week, actually before you and Ubbe had come over." This was news to you, surprisingly it didn't hurt as much as it should have.

"well thank you for telling me this. It makes some things clearer for me. I should get going." You stood up dusting your dress off. You hugged all the brothers, they all said they will always be there for you, and I can come to them anytime to talk. You smiled, said thank you for everything and went out the door, only you know you were going to talk to Bjorn.
