Kimberley's Story

Chapter 3

Eventually, I got pretty hungry and got some butter noodles for supper I went to the mall in search for a new boyfriend. I met a guy named Tim in the food court. He has long black hair and aqua blue eyes. At first I was super nervous to talk to him but turns out he's super nice and easy to talk to. I began to wonder if I should tell him about the cutting, I would tell him later. We hung out for about an hour just talking and walking when all of a sudden his phone rings. He looks at it quickly then puts it in his pocket, in sudden urgency he quickly says he has to go. We say a quick goodbye, then he leaves as fast as thought possible. The next day I went to the same spot where I met him the day before to see if he was there again, turns out he wasn't. Then when I turn to leave someone grabs me by the wrist. Startled I move back quickly, then I see it's just Tim and I start to relax. I asked what was the big rush yesterday and he gets really red and says "my mom needed me." I grab my phone out my purse and say "here give me your number" as he does I smile a bit at how easily it worked. He then smiles a mischievous little smile and says "I lost my number, do you think I could have yours?" I smile and say yes, then write it down for him. After that he said "found it, you can have it though." After about an hour and a half of being at the mall we decided to go get ice cream. We went to the park by the mall and sat by the pond and ate our ice cream, I pulled out my phone again to check the time "wow, its already nine o'clock P.M. I guess we should probably get home". "Wait" Tim says. a hint of nervousness in his voice. He grabs me in a hug and whispers in my ear "will you be my girlfriend?" At that moment I realize, thats the guy i've been waiting for, and thats the guy I want to be with. All of a sudden both of our phones ring at the same time, we both realize it's nearly 10 P.M. and we haven't called our parents. We also realized we were standing there hugging for a full hour. "Well goodbye I guess, I'll see you tomorrow? Text me." He starts to lean in close but then just blushes and gives me another hug and says goodbye. Before he turns to leave I give him a quick half-second kiss then run towards my house.
