When my father and I finish reading the note our suspicions are confirmed and she had tried to commit suicide. I was surprised when my father quickly picked my mother up and told me to help him take her to the car. When we got in the car he quickly started driving to the hospital. When we got to the hospital we run to the desk, tell them all the information and since it's pretty late almost nobody is here, so we go back right away. When we got back there we see her laying on a bed looking dead already, we asked if she was going to be ok. "She should be fine as long as she gets lots of sleep and drinks lots of liquids." one of the nurses told us. I looked up at my dad and he had a tear in his eye and seeing a tear in his eye quickly brought tears to mine. I cried into his shoulder for about 30 minutes when all of a sudden my mom's }eyes fluttered open slightly. Suddenly a wave of hope fell across me and I could feel my dad feeling the same way. They put her in the hospital for a week and a half. When she got out we had a small party. At the end of the party my father decided he was going to propose to my mother. When he proposed my mother's eyes grew wide in shock then quickly adjusted as she said "I need to think about it." The happiness in the room seemed to turn to tension and confusion as my mom walked out of the room slowly, I ran after her. "I thought you were going to ask him anyway." I said. She starts "I was going to but......" "it was so sudden I wasn't thinking straight." Her voice was barely a whisper and she sounded scared. "Whats wrong?" I asked. "You're too young to hear about these problems or even understand them." I got slightly angered at her comment and I started to think about running away. Quickly I started packing my bags. I can't believe I'm actually going through with this" I thought. When I'm done packing my bags, I hide them under my bed for later access.
