--Chapter 26--
Confrontations & Decisions

It was as if he was completely in sync with the female for a few seconds. He felt her agony, the anguish, the aching pain through the scream he had heard from miles away. He wanted to jump in and save his companion from all the pain but his pathetic Master told him to stay put. His anger seethed through his body, unable to take a step closer to his princess. 'You frigging... piece of shit. No amount of hate is going to change my current situation.' He gnawed at his lip as he witnessed the entire situation.

The moment he was able to see the teens leave with the raven on their backs, he swiftly followed them in his hidden form from a certain distance. Tohsaka and Emiya eventually placed the unconscious adult on a bench before moving to a slightly farther distance away, soon to disappear from the sight. The two teens argued before returning to the villa to carry the young corpse out.

During that timing, the Celtic quickly appeared in front of his companion as he kneeled down to get a closer look at her unconscious body. Lacerations were upon her arm and legs from the blonde's chains that suspended her in the air. Cuts fell upon her graceful face and sides, battering her skin. As if he could not be any angrier, he couldn't protect her from those dangers. He was angry at himself for unable to take a step forward because of the Command Seal. "Yuuki..."

His hand gracefully fell upon her cheek, caressing it ever so carefully. With how she looked, it felt that she would break any second from his touch. His heart dreaded at how her condition was. He brushed her bangs away, lightly kissing the raven's temple as he kept his anger in check. "Told you to keep yourself away from trouble... Look at you now." He wanted to embrace her, hold her tightly, but that would expose his intimate connection with the female. He wouldn't want anyone to know that there wasn't a clear line between a servant and a regular human being among the two of them.

He stepped away from the adult before he dematerialized from sight, hiding from the teens as they brought the Einzbern corpse out. They eventually gave the girl a proper burial, seeing solemn-like expressions falling upon them. No sooner, the two began to converse about their current situation. The blue-clad servant sighed as the sight of the teens—nothing but a quarrel between couples. That was when he decided to appear before them.

"You two against her? Come on now... You know that won't work." He reappeared, lazily sitting on the roof of one of the smaller buildings as the two stopped what they were talking about. "Idiots..." The teens simultaneously spoke out his servant class. "When did I last see you two? ...Not since that night?"

His casual smirk fell upon his face, however, it was only a facade while deep down his worries for his princess increased. He leaned forward just a bit before the two teens instinctively placed themselves into an attack-like form. The two simultaneously spoke to get away—completely forgetting the idea that the servant was presumably on their side because of what the raven had said before. What seemed to be a misunderstanding became an argument among teens.

The Celtic laughed through his nose as he casually stepped down to the ground. The two stopped their bickering as he spoke. "Oh? Done already? I'm in no particular rush so you can let everything out from your systems." The two teens faced the servant in preparation for a battle.

"Hold on now..." He tried to recall what his princess had said during the time of their link. "Did you forget I am on your side? Milady did mention it to you earlier. That I was on some kind of reconnaissance mission before?" The twin-tailed teen lowered her arm as she glanced over at the unconscious raven before looking back at the servant. "Satou-san's servant..."

"There you go." He lifted his arms up in the air, only to place them behind his head. "So you are her Servant then... Bastard." The auburn-haired boy muttered under his breath in annoyance. "Yes, I am, Boy. Thanks for taking care of my Master. She's... quite something especially the refusal to ask for my help." He sighed. "Stubborn isn't she?"
