--Chapter 8--
Worrisome Presence

The sun dipped down the horizon with hues of orange and hazy red as the evening began to slowly appear. The raven just finished closing up the florist shop with her manager. It was getting colder each day so they figured that closing the place up before dusk came around was a good idea until spring season returned. The two parted their ways to head wherever their next location was.

For Yuuki, it was to the unusual antique shop once again. She was running low on a few materials after experimenting a bit too much... and then having her magic circuits suddenly all jammed up. She regretted and yet not regret it. The downside to it was that she now knows what her limitation is when it comes to magecraft. The upside... well, she somehow has gotten to see the subtle soft side the Celtic has. She eventually came to officially realize and recognize that she liked him.

She didn't expect to in all honesty. She just wanted to live peacefully, despite being alone, and fade out into existence. Once her memories slowly returned after re-meeting with the male, she couldn't just live alone anymore. The problem with that, which she's aware of, was that the Celtic was going to be here only a while longer. After all, he was a servant that was summoned specifically for the Holy Grail War to which she doesn't know who his Master was. She didn't have a wish before, but now she does.

She wore a light blue cardigan with a white blouse underneath and navy blue jeans. With the dark gray trench coat, she was lucky enough to stay warm. Her hair was tucked under the beanie that matched her cardigan. Puffs of transparent clouds left her lips as she walked across the bridge. 'Out of all days, today had to be the coldest and yet it's not even snowing.' She sighed, rubbing the palms of her hands together to keep herself warm.

She looked out at the river, seeing the icy cold water sway back and forth. Who knew that the bridge emitted such nice scenery between late afternoon and dusk timing? She burned the scenery into her mind, enjoying how it looked before a sudden catastrophe eradicates the place. She continued to walk across the bridge, every so often rubbing her hands to keep warm. If only Cú was here to wrap his arms around her and engulf her with his warmth, it would be surely a pleasure to enjoy.

The Celtic told the raven that he had to be away for a few days, which was, in fact, four days ago. Ever since that time, she hasn't seen the male appear before her. She missed him, for her heart somewhat ached once in a while for not seeing Cú. She wondered if the holy war already started. If it was the case, that would be a reason why he hasn't met up with the raven.

She reached the antique shop once more, however, the shop door indicated a sign that it was already closed. 'That's... unusual for the elder to close this early... Did something happen?' She wondered if there was another antique store around the area. Not exactly sure if there was, she wandered around the area.

The more she wandered into Miyama Town, the more she felt like she was going to be lost. 'Um... I don't see any indications that there are shops nearby that would be good for materials... Do I need to actually ask someone?' She shook her head, knowing that only a few people would even know about the concept of magecraft and preparations if there were any living here.

She felt a presence nearby, quickly scanning the area for a possible threat. The raven dug into the pocket of her trench coat, grabbing a low-grade gem with a rune embedded into it. She cautiously walked, eventually seeing a shopping district in the distance. Once the unusual presence disappeared, she sighed and glanced around. 'I wonder if there's an antique shop over in this direction...'

She walked for a bit, eventually seeing one. 'Oh! It's still open!' The raven walked in, being welcomed by a female elder. She smiled and looked around. It was mostly antique potteries and a few other chinawares. The female inwardly sighed, eventually leaving the antique shop with discontent. 'It's just an ordinary one... I guess I'll make do with whatever I have for now.'
