I was able to make it to her funeral, her mother was the one to find my contact and tell me when they were going to hold it.

She asked me to, "just bring the boy my daughter ran away with, the one who brought her home as fast as he could, the sweet boy who kept her safe and happy."

I had cried when I read the message, she was really gone and they invited me out to her funeral.

Mike and Adam didn't want to go, "we disrespected her, man, you deserve to mourn as someone who loves her." I understood that they didn't want to go to a funeral of someone they avoided but were the ones to be constantly around her.

I picked out my best black outfit and put on her bracelet she left in my flat the first day she was here. It's pink colored rock beads, the only pink I want to be noticeable when I get there.

It was a hell of a ride there, but I managed to get there the night before.

Her mother picked up on the first ring, she exploded with happiness and said she would be at the airport as soon as possible.

Which was a good 20 minutes.

"Hi Dominic, it's so good to see you again, sweetheart!" I hugged her once I got in.

"Nice to see you again, how are you holding up?" She gives me a soft smile and patted my hand.

"As much as I can, how are you?" I didn't get a word out before the first warm tear rolled down my face, she cooed as she rubbed my back.

"I know, baby, I hope the funeral will ease your pain."

They let me in her room once I got to her huge house, her dad greeted me, Cas shared the same copper skin as her dad, she had gotten the feminine looks from her mother.

It was the first time seeing her room and I didn't know quite what to do or say, it held her secrets and everything.

I gravitated towards her jewelry box, in hope I can find the meaning of her bracelet, but I found her vast collection of rings and necklaces.

I saw the single ring I noticed that she wore all the time, her mother mentioned cremating her and the funeral was just going to be held in the huge living room on the main floor.

I slipped my necklace off and out the ring on it, seeing the ring brought comfort.

Andromeda knocked on the door whilst I got ready to shower, she looked like Cas, but tired and younger. The bags dark under her brown eyes.

"Hey, Andy," She took long steps to me, I knew it was going to be an embrace.

"Hey, Dom," She was warm in my arms, I could feel her tears dampening my shirt after a minute. I didn't try to force her to talk.

"Thank you, for making Cas happy, you've got a bigger heart than you let in there, cowboy." I chuckled and combed my fingers through her long hair, that was probably how Cas's hair felt long.

"No problem, Andy, I love your sister."

When the morning came, I got in my funeral clothes and went down stairs.
