The few weeks flew by, giving me whiplash.
It was Monday morning when Andy and I boarded the plane to Seattle, at least I get to see another part of the country for free via my parents paying for everything.
Andy didn't shut up the entire plane ride, she buzzed about him, about how close in age both of us were to him, how his music is rock and I'm just a stuck up bitch.
I'll give her that one, I am a pretty stuck up bitch when it comes down to music, other than that I'm fucking hopeless. I'm a 20 year old still living with her parents and not even taking any college classes yet.
I tried not to have that reacquiring thought destroy my good time like it normally did.
When we finally got to Seattle, it took me an hour to find car rental, and then another hour to rent a decent car that didn't draw any attention.
My parents got a hotel that was a 15 or so minute drive from the venue, the part of Seattle The Crocodile was on, made me feel pretty grunge.
Andromeda had me drive to the place, it took us like 10 minutes to find a good parking area.
"We park here, 5 hours before the show, wait no... 6 hours, we always have two more parking options too." I didn't want to point out the venue I looked up could hold no more than a few dozen people, so chances were that we'd get close parking no matter what, it just depends on how early we are for the line.
We found places to eat for lunch, then after looked for places to eat for dinner and walked around the area in search of cool thrift stores.
~~~~~~ConcertDay~~~~~~
We woke up around 10, got ready and hit the town.
"Cas, I didn't sleep last night... well, I kinda did, but I'm dying and I'm scared-" I had touched her shoulder lightly, making her stop talking.
"Look, I hate the artist, but I know how you feel. I am responsible for your safety and how much fun you have. You will meet him and you will have fun, I'll be there if you need someone to fall back to, 'Kay?"
Her bright hazel eyes widened, but she still smiled and looked out the windows to the dreary world of Seattle.
"Thank you, I hope you try to enjoy yourself at least, his music is fun." She tried to comfort me, she tried to be my happiness holder like I was for her.
The music filled the silence as we knocked off each bulletin from our todo list.
We were at the very least 20 people behind when we got in line. I had my fake ID at ready to be a drinker, though I wasn't gonna drink. I just wanted to seem cool without the X on my hands.
We gave our tickets and my ID, I got no Xs, obviously Andromeda was well below 21, her little kid features still rang in her pubescent face with a little sprinkle of acne. She even cleaned and used good product to not breakout.
"Holy fucking shit, I'm here, I'm finally fucking here!" She bolted to the front of the venue, I ran after her.
She wasn't too far from the stage but I knew she'd deck a bear cold to stay at the stage.
