Dork Diaries: Brandon and Nikki's Prom

I got up at 11:15. I was so excited to go to Chloe's house but right as I was walking out the door I got a text. I wondered who it was from. I checked my phone. It's from Brandon! I thought.

Brandon: Hey Nikki. Wanna come over? I have to discuss something that is too important to say over the phone.

Me: Hmm... Let me check with my mom and dad.

Brandon: Okay. I hope I'll see you soon :)

I ask my mom if I can go to Brandon's house. "I guess you can go. Just be back by 6:00. That is when Brianna says she is gonna do a Princess Sugar Plum singing concert in the Living Room." Mom said. Then I remember
Oh no! If I go to Chloe's house, I need to ditch Brandon and if I go to Brandon's house, I need to ditch Chloe! What do I do? Oh, I have an idea.
I text Chloe.

Me: Chloe can you come to 5673 Lancer Boulevard instead?

Chloe: Sure, but why? Who's house is that?

Me: You'll see.

Chloe: Ummmmmm ...... okay. Should I ask Zoey to come?

Me: Umm ... Sure

Chloe: Okay. See u there.

Then I text Brandon.

Me: I will be there. Can I take Chloe and Zoey too?

I wait. And wait. And wait. Is Brandon okay? He always answers me right away.
