Dork Diaries: Brandon and Nikki's Prom

I put my dress on and got my ride to the prom. I met Brandon in the hallway.

He seemed very happy.

He took my arm and said "M'lady." And he winked.
I said "M'man."

And we rushed inside to the gym for the prom.
We danced the night away and had so much fun.
Until.

Goodell showed up.
He suddenly started being rude to Brandon.
I told him " Back off! "
"Never, Nikki. I love you and have ever since I first saw you. Brandon is a threat and I will not let him steal you from me. You are a lovely, graceful, and kind girl. Please, Nikki, be my girlfriend and let me take care of you better than anybody else could ever take care of you. I will love you, protect you, guard you, and comfort you. Please."

I was overwhelmed and Brandon stared at him in disgust and at me in sympathy.

I lost control of my emotions and screamed "NO!!!!" then ran away to the girls' restroom.

They followed me, but of course stopped at the door.

Luckily there were no other girls in the bathroom but I still hid in the last stall. I sat there and cried my eyeballs out.

Brandon told Chloe and Zoey and they came in and tried to console me.

I came out of the bathroom stall and fixed my makeup on the mirror.
Chloe and Zoey started acting crazy which obviously cheered me up.

Brandon peeked in and said "Nikki? Are you okay?"

I giggled " Yeah I'm okay! "

" I knew those two would cheer you up. Goodell just left. I guess he was angry. "

I came out and danced so much my feet hurt.
I sat down and ate some wing dings.

Me and Brandon remembered the time I was being stupid and asked if he tried the wing dings and laughed.

Maybe Brandon did like me after all.

Hopefully everything turns out okay with Goodell.

I hope I didn't hurt his feelings.

But one thing is for sure.....

I'M SUCH A DORK! 😀
