I woke up with a baby still on my mind, I mean how could I not when that was all I thought about last night. When I wasn't sleeping, dreaming about a baby and being a mother to a beautiful baby boy named Jaylen, with my small button nose, full lips, and charming smile. The rest of his features will come from his daddy, a heartbreaker especially with those big brown eyes, and perfect frame. What I thought about when I was woke was how disappointed my family and friends would be of me. How I would be the laughing stock of the school, I would be call a hoe especially since I am only a sophomore.
"Hello," I answered my ringing phone.
"Hey bae, I'ma get some test from the sto', then slide through 'ight?" Jayden told me.
"Okay I'ma get ready," I hung up.
I got out the bed took a shower, did my hygiene thing, then got dressed. Once finished with that as if exactly on time Jay honked his horn. I ran downstairs, yelled to my parents I'm leaving, then I was out the door.
"Hey baby," I said once I got into Jay's car.
"Hey," he said then I pecked his lips.
"You got it?" I asked looking around for a bag.
"Yeah," he said taking off from my house.
"Baby I'm scared," I finally let out.
"You ain't gotta be ma', you got me."
"I know I'll always have you, but I'm still worried what my ma would think, like I'm 15 you're 16 we too young for this shit."
"You right, but if you are pregnant then it's done, you can't do anythang about it, 'cause you damn sure ain't aborting my baby."
"Of course I wouldn't abort my child, but I know we not ready."
"Then we gon' get ready, I know they got classes for dat, we gon' be coo'."
"Okay."
After that was silence, not awkward, just silent.
"Awkward" I said to break the ice.
"Bruh you to stop, you know damn well it's not awkward, gosh you always doing that!" He yelled and I laughed because I know he hates when I do that.
We pulled up to his house, got out the car, and went to the house.
"Can I have the tests?" I asked.
"Yeah let's go," he said walking to the bathroom and I followed.
Once we go in the bathroom he gave me a stick out of one box, then a stick out of the other two. Once I peed on all of them we waited for the five minutes to be up, I swear this is the longest five minutes ever. I could let there was something on his mind, like there was something he wasn't telling me.
"What's wrong?" I finally asked.
"Um, there is somethin' I gotta tell you ma," he said.
"What is that?" I asked getting really nervous, I had a feeling it was bad.
"Uh, word on the street, that da 5-0 tryna get to me."
"What do you mean, like they need your help?"
"Niggas like them don't need n!ggas like me help. They tryna lock me up ma', but I ain't gon' let that happen."
"So your just gonna hide?"
"If I got to, I ain't gon' let them get me especially if I got a family to take care of now."
"You don't know that."
