felix pov

"so...when are we getting that apartment?" i asked changbin. he was driving dae and i back to hyunjin and seungmin's place. 

"i don't know. you got any money?" he asked.

"no...i can get a part time job though." i said.

"take a few more weeks off. then it would be appreciated if you helped me pay for the place." he said.

"okay. it's a deal." i said.

dae was sleeping in her car seat in the back. i just looked at her, she looked more like me but she had changbin's nose and ears. she also had a cute little mole right under he eye.

"we're here." changbin said after 10 minutes.

"thanks for the ride." i said.

"do you want help carrying the stuff?" he asked and i nodded.

i carried dae and he carried all the bags since it still kind of hurt me to do anything. we took the elevator to the 6th floor, and then went to their apartment. i knocked on the door and we waited about a minute before seungmin opened the door.

"oh. hey guys!" he said happily with a cute smile.

"calm down. you'll wake her up." i said.

"right. sorry. but i have very important news for you." seungmin said.

"oh. well let me put all my stuff away first." i said.

changbin and i went to my room and put away the stuff. i carefully laid dae in her crib and placed a small blanket on top of her. then we walked out of the room to the living room.

"shit! i have to go i'm gonna be late for work." changbin said and rushed out.

"well, that was abrupt." hyunjin said.

"what did you want to tell me, seungmin?" i asked.

"oh right! so...great news. mina spoke. she said 'appa' really quietly to hyunjin. which made him freak out and kind of scare her but...the point is that she can speak if she want to." seungmin explained.

"that's amazing! where is she?" i asked.

"oh, she is with my mom because my mom wanted to see her." hyunjin said.

"they should be back soon, though." seungmin said.

as if it was magic someone knocked on the door right after he said that. 

"that's probably them." hyunjin said and got up to go get the door.

"hey mom! did you two have a fun time?" hyunjin asked and hugged his mom.

"yes! and by the way...she spoke! right after you two left she looked out the window and said 'appa' quietly." she explained.

i know that you're thinking, if she is only a year old why is it such a big deal she isn't talking? but by a year old, they mean like 20 months. seungmin had her when he was almost 15, but still 14.

"i can't believe that she is talking now!" seungmin said. and then i heard crying, dae had woken up.

"welcome to parenthood, felix." hyunjin said as i walked to my room to check on her.

at least i actually updated though.
