felix left me alone with a 2 month old baby and so i tried my best to take good care of her. i have never in my life cared for a baby on my own. the hardest part was definitely changing her diaper, she kept moving and crying when i was trying to get it on her. 

but eventually i got her to just sleep. all babies do is sleep, eat, and shit. (a/n: i feel like i already wrote that in this book...)

then i heard the door open. i looked up and it was changbin and felix. they both looked really happy. 

"hey guys." i said.

"hey. is it official now?" felix asked.

"yeah, i think it is." changbin said.

then felix's phone started ringing.

"sorry, i have to take this." felix said and answered the phone.

i kinda listened to the conversation. it was something about work. after like 5 minutes he walked over and sat on the couch with us, he looked happy.

"what was that about?" i asked him.

"i got a job. i start in 2 weeks since...you know...woojin." he said.

"well...what is the job?" changbin asked.

"i am a secretary at kim corp." felix said.

"sounds boring." i said.

"yeah, but i get paid $13.50 an hour." felix said.

"we only get paid $10.75 an hour." changbin said.

"actually, i get paid $11.15 an hour." i said.

"why do you get paid more?" changbin asked confused.

"because i have worked there for like 2 years and i have gotten 2 raises in that time." i explained.

changbin was starting to look sad again. i mean...his best friend just got murdered. i wanted him to just let it all out, he hasn't slept in like 24 hours, he cried for like an hour yesterday but he hasn't cried at all today, which i find kind of weird.

"changbin? are you okay?" i asked.

"n-no." he stuttered.

"it's okay to cry, changbin." felix said.

then changbin burst into tears, he had been holding them back all day. felix and i both hugged changbin. i placed a kiss of his forehead, felix looked like he was close to tears too. 

but i knew that no matter what, i was going to protect them with everything i had.
