"What the hell was that?" I coughed, holding onto the chair behind me. Jude ignored my question.

"Go pack, we're leaving in half an hour." I nodded my head and walked down the hallway to Grace's room.

"Hey sweetheart. We're leaving in 30 minutes, so pack up anything you think you will need for a while." I pulled her suitcase out of her closet and set it on the bed. "I'm going to pack my stuff. If you need any help, come get me."

Quietly, I closed her door and went to my room. I grabbed my suitcase and threw everything from my drawers that I might need. Coats, shorts, jeans, T-shirts, anything I could find really. I even added a dress. Who knows where we're going to be. I threw some flip flops into the front pocket of my suitcase, along with my running shoes and another pair of converse. When I was content with my wardrobe for the next year, I grabbed another bag and walked into the small bathroom that me and Grace share. I grabbed both of out shampoos and conditioner, our toothbrushes and toothpaste, face wash, lotion, and some perfume. When I was done with that, I went to check on Grace. She had not only packed her suitcase full of stuffed animals, but also dad's suitcase.

"Grace, dear. Do you really need all of those animals?" I said in my calmest voice, although I think she could tell I was frustrated.

"Yes." She said in a small voice. I sighed and stalked back to my room, coming back with my old suitcase. I went through her clothes, throwing in anything that I though might be useful.

"Go bring these suitcases to Jude." I told her. She nodded.

I went back to my room and pulled out my old school backpack. Carefully, I put my some of my favorite and some of my unread books in there. I then grabbed my bags, and closed the door to my room without looking back.
