You Belong with Me

Part Two - Epilogue: Looking to the Future

Cristiano smiled climbing out of the swimming pool, he held his son close to his chest as he sat on the edge of the pool allowing Junior to splash his feet in the cool water.

It had been three days since Cristiano and Alexa had become husband and wife and they were currently in St. Topaz enjoying their honeymoon.

Alexa smiled sat safely in the shade with Lilian so that their little girl wouldn’t get sunburnt; she was wearing a red daisy print underwired tankini top and bikini briefs that she had gotten especially for their honeymoon; she had out grown many of her older swimwear after had Lilian.

The family were staying in a privately rented villa out of the sight of the press; Cristiano glanced back at Alexa and grinned, knowing that everything had worked out so well.

“I want another one,” Cristiano said making Alexa laugh looking at him, she knew that they would have maybe one or two more children but she didn’t want another one right now.

Cristiano moved to sit next to Alexa in the shade with their son; she watched him contently as he sat next to her side and kissed her.

“Not right now… when Cristiano and Lilian are a little older,” Cristiano explained making Alexa nod as Lilian held up her arms so her father to pick her up.

Cristiano grinned picking his daughter up and cuddled her close, as his son clambered onto his mother’s lap; they were wonderful and Cristiano loved the idea of having a large family with Alexa.

“A little boy or a little girl?” Alexa asked making Cristiano chuckle as he pressed a kiss to her lips, he smiled pulling back knowing that he was happy that they had made it this far in life.

“One of each would be nice…” Cristiano said smiling, he wanted a big family and a couple more children would be perfect to complete their life.

Alexa smiled watching Cristiano with their children, the two years had been changed everything for her; she was now married to the most amazing man in the entire world and had two beautiful children.

Lilian was asleep as Cristiano tucked her into bed while little Cristiano was pretty much on his way, Alexa leant against the bedroom door and smiled at Cristiano as she flicked the bedroom light off.

Cristiano kissed his wife softly as he pulled her from the room, Alexa grinned as she allowed him to lead her to their bedroom that was down the corridor from their children; she was wearing a black Aztec print beach halter neck maxi dress over her tankini since it was a little cooler now.

“I was being serious…” Cristiano said resting his hands on her hips as he backed her into the room, she grinned as she realised what he had planned.

Alexa shook her head amused, she knew how much Cristiano loved having children and he wanted more; she doubted Lilian would turn one before Cristiano got her pregnant again.

“Really about what?” Alexa asked innocently pulling away from him, she grinned as she walked away from him and started to prepare the bed for the night.

Cristiano rolled his eyes as he wrapped his arms around her waist and pulled her to him, Alexa grinned as he kissed down her neck; she still couldn’t believe that this man was her husband.

"Now Mrs. Ronaldo… don’t tease,” Cristiano murmured slowly turning her to face him, he ducked down and kissed Alexa so happy with his life; he would never let her go and he would protect her with his life.

Alexa wrapped her arms around his neck and pulled him into a kiss as Cristiano held her to him and gently moved them onto the bed; a smile on his face as they kissed.

“Who said that I’m teasing you Mr. Ronaldo?” Alexa asked as Cristiano climbed on top of her, he kissed down her neck and grinned up at her when she spoke.

Alexa carefully removed her tan leather toe post flat sandals, she smiled up at her husband wondering what he had in mind for tonight.

“Your very dashing husband says so,” Cristiano said making Alexa roll her eyes, she pulled him into a kiss; his hands moulding her hips as he pulled her close to him.

Cristiano deepened the kiss as he slowly helped Alexa out of her dress; Alexa slowly started to unbutton his shirt and pulled it off his shoulders.

The couple lay together in their bed, Cristiano ran a hand up and down Alexa’s bare back; he smiled watching her, he didn’t know what he would ever do without her by his side.

“What are you thinking about?” Alexa asked making Cristiano smile as he looked down at her, her head resting above his heart; he pressed a kiss to the top of her head before he spoke.

“I’m trying to imagine how my life would be without you…” Cristiano said making Alexa raise an eyebrow as she looked at him, she couldn’t help but think of how odd that he was doing that during their honeymoon.

“But I can’t… I don’t think I would have a life without you,” Cristiano said sweetly making Alexa smile at him as she pressed a kiss to his lips; he held her close, this all could have ended different and he knew how lucky he was that it had worked out the way it had.

“I don’t know what I would do without you either,” Alexa said resting her head against his chest again, she smiled at the sound of his heartbeat; to her it was the best sound in the world next to the sound of her children’s laughter.

“Then it’s lucky we’ll never have to find out,” Cristiano said kissing her head, Alexa smiled at him as she kissed him softly; this was all they both needed, it didn’t matter what happened in the future all that mattered was that they had each other and their children.
