The sound of the bell shook me from my thoughts
Thank god, I just want this day to be over already.
I walk out of the office and say goodbye to Ava, I keep my head down walking to my locker so I can just pack up and go home. As I'm packing up I feel a tap on my shoulder I turn around to see Ella. My eyes go wide but before I can say anything she drops a note on my lap and leaves.
I ignore the people looking at us and quickly read the note
"I'm sorry things had to end this way, I love you and I hope you move on and find someone to make you happy"
I want you to make me happy
I slam my locker shut and walk down the hallway, a plan forming in my head. I walk out the front doors and quickly look around. When I see her I march over and pull Ella into a tight hug,
"You don't get to break up with me and be unhappy, not without my say so," I whisper
"I'm sorry," she says and hugs me back, I bury my head in her neck which is a little hard to do since I'm almost a foot taller than her.
I pull back and blink away tears "We good?"
"Yeah, we are" I kiss her and hug her one more time before getting on my bus, and for the second time that day.
I smiled.
