Chapter 13

When I got to school the next day I was ecstatic. It was as if I had suddenly been pulled out of water. I had been drowning in my thoughts for so long I didn't realize when I could finally breathe again. But when I did realize it was incredible. It was like yesterday hadn't even happened Ella and I seemed perfectly normal and for the most part, we were. There was still and underlying sadness that neither of us could seem to shake but it was something that could be sorted out at a later time.

Shaking my head to clear my thoughts I opened my locker to get everything for the day ahead, Im so excited everything is back to normal maybe school will even be fun today!

It wasn't.

While I was lost in thought again I didn't feel when two arms snaked around my waist

"Hey" I turned around in her arms and smiled at Ella and gave her a quick kiss

"Hey, Let me get my stuff and we can go to your homeroom"  I said taking her arms off my waist

"Ok see you there." she winked and walked off to her homeroom. I stared after her smiling for a while until I heard a voice next to me

"What the fuck, did  yesterday not happen? whats going on?" I grabbed my book and slammed my locker quickly not turning to address the person who spoke to me already knowing who it was

"Fuck off Logan," I flipped him off and ran to homeroom laughing. He stood there confused for a second before giving up and opening his locker.

Apparently I was everyone's favorite topic to talk about today because in art Lucas would not leave me the fuck alone

"So like dod you and Ella break up or what?" He said putting down his scissors and looking at me.

"No we didn't and my relationship is none of you business anyway" I said without looking up at him.

"So what was all that shit about, yesterday? You both seemed pretty upset." I sighed and put down my pencil

"I said Its none of you fucking business, So if you would kindly shut the hell up and let me finish my project that would be great thanks" I spat.

He put his hands up in mock surrender
"Alright alright Touchy subject" he muttered

"FUCK OFF" I slammed my hands down on the table and got up to ask to go to the bathroom ignoring the insults from the boys in the room.

I left the room and shoved my hands into my pockets

Fucking assholes need to find something better to do than pry into my love life ugh

I opened the door to the bathroom and walked over to the sink to splash some cold water on my face.

Ugh Fuckin hate this shit. Fuck school. I got like two minutes before I have to go back

Hearing the door being opened I look up quickly to see Vera

I smiled at her and gave a short wave "Hey"

She smiled back

how is she so nice, a literal saint.

"Im glad you feel better today Julia. So did you and Ella sort everything out?"

"Yeah we did thanks for everything yesterday" I said smiling

"Of course im always happy to help. See you in class" she said walking into the stall. I left after that hoping to give her some privacy. I checked my watch seeing I still had a minute left so I just hung around the water fountains till I couldn't put it off any longer. Walking directly to my seat I blocked out everyone and got to work.
As soon as it's lunch I can see Ella.
