Teigan taps the end of her pen against her bottom lip, lost in thought, as she sits at the dining table. In front of her is a notebook, open on the page they've written the details they've already worked out for their wedding - not that there are many details for certain just yet since they haven't had time to properly sit down and plan.
"Hey," Sebastian greets her by kissing the top of her head, chuckling as she jumps at the sudden interruption to her wandering thoughts. "What are you working on?"
She shrugs, dropping the pen down onto the pages in front of her. "Just thinking about how much stuff we still haven't figured out."
"The wedding," Sebastian states as he glances at the book in front of her and understands what she's been so distracted by. "You're not on your own remember - we're in this together."
She smiles, waving him off. "I know; it's just been weighing on my mind and I thought I could brainstorm some ideas while you were at the gym. You can clearly see how that turned out." She finishes with a sigh.
He rubs her shoulders, smiling as she tips her head back against his stomach. He leans down, kissing her forehead before straightening up. "How about Fall?"
"Huh?"
"Getting married in Fall. You loved it when I took you upstate last fall." He shrugs.
Teigan takes a moment to think about it, before nodding to herself. "Which month?"
"Late September, maybe?" He moves to the seat next to her as he speaks. "It gives us a little more time and shouldn't be too cold yet."
She nods as he speaks, taking notes and working everything out in her head. "I'm not too keen on an outside venue in case it does get cooler this time of year faster than usual."
"That's a good point," He smiles. "Look at us being all organised and planning special events together."
"It's a first." She chuckles. "Now, come on, we're on a roll here. Let's not get distracted." She taps her finger against the note she made about the month they're looking to marry in. "This year or next?"
Sebastian frowns as he reads over the notes they have so far. "We're three days into August; do you really think we'd be able to pull off planning this in just over a month?"
Teigan bites her lip. "I'm way more organized than you, I probably could, but we have to take into consideration the time limit on a marriage license and your filming schedule. You leave again in a little over two weeks to start filming Endgame."
He nods, though, she can tell he's distracted thinking about something. Before she can interrogate him, he voices his thoughts. "We'll get the license before I leave - it definitely won't run out in the timeframe we're thinking. As for filming, I can get a couple of days to a week off if we nail down an exact date; the Russos are pretty understanding if we have legitimate reasons for needing time away, and I'd say getting married is pretty legitimate."
Teigan's eyes widen as she lets out a surprised laugh. "We're really thinking about planning and getting married next month. We must be mad."
"Madly in love - yeah." He jokes. "Maybe we are, but I want to marry you as soon as I can because being able to call you my wife is all I've been dreaming of ever since I asked you to marry me."
Teigan shakes her head, looking down at the notepad as her cheeks redden. "What happened to not needing a piece of paper or ring to prove our love?"
"We still don't," He leans over, pressing kisses to her cheek and temple, smiling as she starts laughing at his silliness. "But it's a nice thought to be able to call you my wife."
Teigan rubs his arm as he snakes it around her waist, nuzzling her temple as he allows her a moment to organise her thoughts again. She taps the end of her pen against the pad before leaning into the affection, humming to herself.
"Well, if we work together then we can definitely make that happen in that time frame."
Sebastian sits up, nodding immediately. "You already know that I wasn't going to leave all the planning to you, that we're in this together. Of course I'll help."
Teigan leans over, meeting him in the middle and responding to the kiss he initiates. "Looks like we've got a wedding on our hands." She breathes, sitting back on her seat properly.
"Let's do this."
