THE FIRST MEETING PART 2

RAZE

1 hour earlier

“Raze, wake up.”

Xaro lightly rock my shoulder which disturbed me from a peaceful slumber.

“Wake up sleepy head.” This time it was Einz.. Urgh, I growled in mind. They are making my head throb, now I feel lethargic.

I gave glared at Einz the moment I opened my eyes. I was quietly sleeping at the backseat of the car but now I was completely mad because of what they did. I want to have more sleep for food’s sake.

 “oohhh...Can you smell that? I think there’s a lot of food inside that house.” Einz started to sniff like a trained dog smelling a bomb.

Then suddenly I was taken aback at the backseat. Did he just say “Food”?

*nod*

*nod*

Oh yes! I don’t have to be informed twice when it comes to food. I immediately rose up and went out of the car. But Einz reflex is quite fast and he immediately grab my forearm, restraining me to run fast as the wind to the house of food.

I pried his fingers to get him loosen his strong grip on my arm but I failed. Suddenly an idea crossed my mind. I concentrated and tried to summon some energy. I heard Einz said “Ouch” and made him to let my hand go.

“Jeez. Relax. Raze. Gosh. You will be inside that house.”

Xaro had seen what I did to his brother.  Now he faced me and examined me from head to foot. He’s biting the nail of his right thumb, as if his thinking about something...He released a deep sigh before he spoke. “Before we let you in, I have to teach you some things coz you know...you’... you’re innocent...”

He paused for a second, and then continued to speak. “...If he happened to do this to you...” He placed his hand on my right cheek and he gently draws his head closer to mine. I don’t know what’s happening; but this position feels awkward.  I looked at Einz to inquire what’s the wrong with his brother? But he too, was a little confused about Xaro’s action. He is crossing his arms on his chest  and a  brow was arched.

“If he went closer like this...” we leaned his head closer and he pressed his lips on mine. I felt my face flushed, coz I can feel the warmth of his lips...What was that all about?

“You have to punch out the guts in him. Like this” He pulled out my right hand and bends it to fist. Then he taught me how to throw a punch... directly on Einz face.

“What the hell? Why don’t you use your own face? You are the one who stole her kiss?” Einz complained in a very annoyed tone, while massaging his hurt jaw using his just hurt hand.

“Raze, look. If other guy, most especially our friend did that to you. You have to punch him that way. Understood?” Well, I got what he’s saying.

Kiss then punch.

 Without futher instruction. I made a fist and knocked out Xaro’s guts. This time the punch landed on dfferent direction  instead of his face it fell on his stomach.  

“Good?” I asked him while he was curling on the ground.

“Very Good... BRAVO!” Einz answered for Xaro. He’s clapping his hand like a Seal and whistling simultaneously.

Xaro was flabbergasted on the ground but he managed to raise thumbs up for my job well done.

“Karma is a bitch” Einz added and tap Xaro’s back.
