PART 13

RAZE

“Your communication skill develops remarkably, Raze. Olivia is right, you are a fast learner. I am sure Damien will be proud.”

Dr. Craig smiled at me as he scanned the result of my tests. I just took a speech test, object identification and memory test.

I really did my best to learn and understand words...I remembered that night when I asked Damien such silly questions. I don’t really know what that means so I asked him.

“No. Not yet. In the future my love.”

He said in his husky voice and embraced me tighter.

“So we are going to have lots of babies?”

He chuckled so hard and roll on our bed, he grab a pillow and squeezed his face with it.

“Damien..What?”

He didn’t respond anymore. I knew he was just pretending to be asleep. He should have told me that it’s stupid to ask those questions but he let me be humiliated. 

Dr. Craig heaved a sigh when he flip to the next page and saw the result written on it. 

“We still have to work on with your memory, though. Are you having any dreams that you can remember?”

“No” I lied.

Actually, there is one dream that I can remember and it’s a very disturbing kind of dream, which every time that I even think of it, I feel my heart is constricting as it skip a beat. I don’t want to tell this to anyone. I know...it will reach Damien.

In that dream, I was dying. It’s my first time for me to feel such pain. It was drastic and very torturous. In that dream I want to keep my life and fight for it, but the person who’s inflicting the pain has no remorse of stopping.  He wants me dead. I can see it from the fury of his eyes, it’s sinister and callous.

Those eyes are the eyes of the man I adored. Damien.

I thought I am not gonna wake up from that dream, thank god that I did. But I am planning to tell that to anyone. If it will reach Damien, surely he will be hurt. He only promises me protection, care and I know that there’s no harm he’ll inflict to me. That is so unlike him.

“Oh, just inform me immediately if you had any. Your dreams could help us unlock your mind, you past. And have your memory back.”

“Thank you, Dr, Craig. I will just inform you if I had any, uhm.. can I go now?”

Dr. Craig nodded and handed me a copy of my test results.

“Show this to Damien, I am sure he will be ecstatic to know some of the good results.”

I nodded at him,  and approached the folder his handing me.

“Thank you, please say hello to Beth. I will go now.”

I went out the hospital and waited for a while to Carlos, he is Damien’s most trusted driver. He had been working for him when just starting his celebrity career but later on, he became Alanzo Cars Sales manager in one of their branches. But now he’s my personal driver. Damien asked him a favour to drive me to anywhere when he is out of town or country.

“Where are we going ma’am?”

“I am hungry. uhmm.. could you take me to Hungry bear’s Steak house, the one near south port?”

“Sure ma’am”

“Raze, you are back.” Frank smiled at me from ear to ear. I really like eating in this place, though my memory I had in here wasn’t worth reminiscing. But now, all the staff in here knew me and also they give me a VIP treatment but I refuse coz it will be unfair to other costumers.
