Rookie Swap Announcement

"Now then!" Julius's voice echoed out to the people, calming them down. It had been a little whilst since the star rankings announcement since Julius wanted to give people a chance to discuss it amongst themselves before he dropped the news he was going to.

"I have a very big announcement to make. In 3 days a selected rookie from each squad will be swapped and placed in a different squad for an undisclosed amount of time. The swap will go as follows. Golden Dawn's Yuno will be moved to the Squad of the Silver Eagles. The Silver Eagles Rubort will go to the Crimson Lion Kings. The Crimson Lions Felona will go to the Coral Peacocks. The Coral Peacocks Sonya will go to the Aqua Deer. The Aqua Deer's Satsumie will go to the Purple Orcas. The Purple Orca's Roman will go to the Green Praying Mantises. The green Praying Mantises Velvet will be going to the Black Bulls. The Black Bulls Asta will go to the Blue Rose Knights and the Blue Rose Knights Theodore will go to the Golden Dawn."

It was certainly a lot to take in, especially for the ones being swapped, however the ones who cared the most were, surprisingly, the magic knight captains who looked heavily annoyed, an expression Asta hadn't seen on most of them, mostly for the fact that he hadn't seen all of them too much to begin with. The captains stayed silent however whilst the crowd threw many questions at the wizard king, demanding answers on why he could do such a thing when the Magic Knights seemed to be doing so well in their current state.

"People please calm down, I assure you there's a perfectly reasonable explanation for my actions and they are this. The Magic Knights are exceptional in many ways, however we mustn't get complacent and stop there, it's my belief that if we give the new Knights different perspectives from having them grow closer with other people then they will become stronger so that the squads are better than simply being good or doing well." His first priority was the kingdom and keeping it safe, to that extent he wanted the knights to be stronger, he'd no plan to hold their hands whenever a crisis occurred. They needed to become powerful so they could better protect the kingdom.

"Now then, the swap will take place immediately in three days. On the third day the selected rookies will be required to go to they're swapped squads and will stay for an uncertain amount of time. Depending on the person the times at which the rookie stays in a different squad may change, and they may be swapped permanently, if both captains agree." Julius kept his smile as he talked, wanting to assure the people that he had everything under control and he knew what he was doing.

"Now then, it's been a pleasure speaking with you, enjoy the rest of the festival!" With that he turned around and walked out of view, surprising everyone due to his decision to make such a quick exit. Asta stared at the place the wizard king had been standing as the crowd began to disperse throughout the festival. Asta wasn't as quick to move from his place besides Yuno, however as Yuno turned and started heading back into the tunnel he'd came from Asta turned and followed him. Looking behind them he realized the captains had already disappeared, likely off to brood over the results and either sulk or be happy about they're standing. All of them however he was certain were discussing in surprise the Black Bulls placement for the rankings.

Asta and Yuno talked as they went down a flight of stairs and then along a corridor, they're talk of course focused on the festival and rankings. "DAMN YOU, YOU WEAK LITTLE IMBECILE!" The shout was followed by the sound of something slamming into the ground. Asta and Yuno stopped dead in their tracks at seeing the crimson lion kings new captain, her body emitting flames as if she was made of fire "The Crimson Lions in fifty place!? How could you humiliate us that way?! I have half a mind to annihilate the whole lot of you so I can save myself the disappointment during next years ceremony!" 'Yikes, what kind of crazy murder spree did we just walk in on?' Asta panicked, confused. Looking at her, he couldn't help but to inwardly hear the growl of a lion, or lioness in this matter.
