Asta raised his head from the bed and yawned silently to himself, looking around the immaculate room as he was confused. 'Where am I? This isn't my room' gradually however he remembered the previous days events. He screamed and jumped to his feet in surprise at his own memories and figured most would find such a reaction reasonable. Not once in all of the years since the founding of the magic knights had the knights been temporarily swapped between squads.
Looking around the room Asta began to check it over as muscle memory set in and he began cleaning. It only took him a few seconds to realise that the room was spotless as well as the hallway outside. There was nothing for him to do on the morning despite waking up far earlier than most and so to make up with the loss of the work he got from cleaning he started training instead.
Suddenly a dark shadow passed by the window moving so quick Asta wondered if it was simply his eyes playing tricks on him. Heading over to the window and looking out of it he was surprised to see Charlotte out there training. Outside of the window was a large open plain with hedge around it and targets.
Charlotte brought her sword hilt down hard as the briars slashed down, some simply slashing the target whilst others wrapped around the target before squeezing it. It burst into splinters in mere moments and the briars receded into the hilt of the sword which then dissipated as her Grimoire stopped glowing.
She was strength itself to the women of the squad, a clear and strong reminder that women could and were just as strong as men and many of the women, if not all, loved and praised her for that fact, giving them courage that they could be strong no matter the gender. Asta didn't dilute this fact at all, he cared not for someone's race nor gender but merely by they're personality, how they treated others. It was an aspect Charlotte already knew and couldn't help but to find enjoyable about him; his acceptance was one of the only reasons besides his anti-magic that she was okay with him getting swapped into the Blue Rose Knights
She sighed silently to herself and glanced at his window as she felt eyes on her, a bit surprised to find him staring at her, not because of the fact he was staring but because he was up at such an hour. The other squad members, even the most diligent weren't known to be up yet hence why she got some practice in now so her magic power didn't end up overwhelming those of her squad.
Asta moved away from the window a little after she noticed him watching her, leaving the room after making sure he was ready to do so with his new robe on, his black bulls robe folded neatly in a draw ready for when he had to return to them, he vowed to be stronger then so he could better protect those he cared for and hold up the title of magic knight.
The air was cool and the sun hot, admittedly some of the best weather for physical training and since one of the key components of how he fought depended on him being in shape then he found it necessary to improve and keep up his bodies muscular physic whenever and wherever possible. That said, he couldn't very well begin simply training right before the captain, she wasn't like Yami after all, far more dignified so even Asta knew when to not try something that could end badly.
"Good morning captain Charlotte ma'am, how was your night?!" He actually wasn't certain why he even asked, it merely felt polite, something he felt he had to be concerning her. He wasn't thinking about it at the time but how he had subconsciously chosen to interact with her wasn't too dislike how he was with Sister
Lily; a woman he hadn't even thought of separately from everyone else at the church since he first met Charlotte. Despite the fact he felt he needed to be more polite he was still more yelling it rather than talking calmly."Ah, Asta, how uplifting it is to see another putting they're time to use instead of sleeping through the morning. Come, allow us to train together, it shall prove much more effective than doing it alone naturally, after all targets hardly make for good sparring partners."
