Asta continued to squirm around in an attempt to break free from the iron bindings, his efforts however were in vein as he couldn't get out of them without his swords. The three women who had grabbed him stood proudly by his side, all looking at Charlotte as if waiting to be praised for their actions. The other girls were continuing to pressure Asta, asking over and over to see his anti-magic weapons, most ignoring the fact that he can't do anything until he was set free. One of the girls pulled the one using her iron magic to bind Asta to the side, whispering to her. She grinned and nodded, waving her hand "Stand back everyone, I know what to do" The other girls did as told and backed away from Asta, including the ones holding the ropes attached to him. The bindings on him dropped away, something that caught Charlottes attention as well as Asta's. Before he could capitalise on being freed however a metal box formed around him like a cell.
"What are you doing? stop acting in such a manner!" Despite feeling nervous with Asta here Charlotte knew she still had to act like a captain even at times when she felt vulnerable. "Release him at onc-" Her words were cut short by the sound of metal hitting metal, the top half of the box faded away, the magic dispersing. Asta stood in the box with the demon slayer sword resting on his shoulder, the bottom half of the box fading into magic as well. The women all looked on in awe at the sight of him standing tall, as tall as he could considering his short stature , a look of annoyance on his face. "What the hell? you can't just drag people around and then throw them in a cell, it's not nice at all." his words were directed towards the iron mage and the two who had dragged him to the square.
Looking around the square his eyes then fell on Charlotte, eyes instantly turning to stars as he ran to her side, dropping the slayer sword, his grimoire shooting off underneath it, taking it in. "Captain Charlotte!" he stopped as he reached her side, his happiness evident as he was slightly bouncing up and down on the balls of his feet, giddy. Simply confessing his feelings to sister lily would make him joyful, now that he was in front of a woman he cared for even more deeply than the sister, a woman who accepted his feelings, he was bursting with more energy than he knew what to do with. Charlotte flinched as he ran to her side, face heating up once more, the aura of authority and control she was beginning to emit only moments ago faded away immediately at his close proximity. It was replaced with her becoming nervous and hesitant, knowing she could be closer to him, stand next to him proudly if she liked, but she needed to build her confidence until she was brave enough to stand by his side without fear of being overwhelmed by her feelings, or her fear of being looked down upon.
"A-Asta-" she cleared her throat, steadying her breathing as best she could "-considering our, relationship, feel free to simply call me Charlotte, there's no need to call me Captain, I'm not even your normal captain" whilst she valued proper etiquette and those that knew how to address their superiors, she was fully aware of just how useless it would be letting him continue to call her captain, it would make her unhappy and she would only end up silently wanting him to drop the title. Turning her attention towards her squad she tried to act more professional. "The rest of you however must continue to call me Captain though, this is an exception only granted to Asta because of our, circumstances. Now that I've told you what I must, I have preparations to take care of." She turned away from the crowd and glanced at Asta "Feel free to go back to your training, if I need you I shall call on you"
Taking a step forward she was instantly stopped as three mages quickly moved to stand in front of her, all of them grinning. The girls were Puli Angel, a known 'romantic expert' in the squad, as well as Selena and Vera, two girls who planned to help Puli get Asta and Charlotte some time to talk without worrying about everything they had to do. "The girls will begin making the preparations, you have something more important to do" Taking hold of their captains arms they began to pull her away. "Vera, you ensure Asta get's to the dinner on time" she nodded, grinning "Dinner?! what are you three planning?" Charlotte's voice was quick and worried "Well you just got engaged and in a relationship today right? then you need some alone time to get to know each other, trust me on this."
