despite any of the things you've done
i would give myself for you anyday
put a blade through my heart
if that would keep yours beating
"she's strong" they say
"why are you worried" they ask
because strong people are only strong for so long
if you have a bird and tie it down
and watch it try and fly
after a while
that bird would give up under the pressure of the rope
that's why i'm worried i say
