I stared at him in shock. What is he doing here? I thought I'd never see him again..after all we've been through. After all he put me through! The look of shock was then replaced with disgust as I stared at the guy that once stole my heart and shattered it into pieces when he left. Matt.

Matthew Henderson.

"What are you doing here?" I asked coldly.

"I thought you'd be happy to see me." He chuckled nervously.

"Well you thought wrong. Why would you think I'd be happy to see you after all that you did to me? Did you even care about me for that matter? Because I sure as hell don't think so. People who care about other people don't do what you did to me."

Matt sighed and ran his hands through his brown-black hair. "I'm really sorry about that Naomi. I really am." He said and held my hands in his.

I snorted and pulled my hands away. "As if."

"I'm serious. There wasn't a day that went by where I don't think about you...regretting everything I said that night."

"I find that really hard to believe." I said and folded my arms across my chest.

"I know and I didn't expect you to believe me."He said and stepped closer to me.

"Please Matt...just leave me alone." My voice cracked at the end. There goes my confidence. Tears then came to my eyes as memories of Matt and I flooded back to me. I blinked back the tears. I'm stronger than this.

"All I want is another chance.." He whispered softly and stared at the ground. My guard went down a bit as I saw his expression. He looked so sad...no! He hurt you Nay! Don't put yourself through this again.

"You had your chance. And you blew it a year ago. How could you? I gave you my heart Matt..I let you in. I gave you my everything... I was nothing but faithful to you...I loved you Matt. And you dumped me on our one year anniversary night with no explanation what so ever and I never saw you again. Now you have the nerve to actually come back after a whole year and ask me to take you back? Are you serious? Do you really think I'm dumb enough to get back with you?" By now the tears came one after the next. I just couldn't hold it in. They slid freely down my cheeks.

"I have my reasons for doing what I did Naomi." Matt said and looked up at me, meeting my eyes. His eyes showed hurt. Why is he hurting?, I'm not the one who dumbed him on our anniversary and then left town with no explaination what so ever.

"Tell me then. Tell me why you did that?"

He sighed in frustration "I can't tell you Naomi."
