Connor and Ava's rollercoaster ride

While connor was scrubbing his hands outside hybrid or seeing Ava Lying on the table with various machines trying to keep her alive, a nurse came from behind and told him that somebody is constantly trying to call you and says that its an emergency. Connor turned towards her and told her to record a message but she again replied that the person says it is an emergency.
Connor had no idea and asked her to give him the phone.
There was some man with a heavy voice

Unknown: if u want ur girlfriend alive meet me at XXXX on this adressxxxxxx
And dont dare to call the police or u will not see her ever again

Connor: who the hell r u? What is the proof that.
He could hear Robin screaming in the back
Connor was shocked and he stood still for the moment and he asked the man what he wanted. The man again told him to meet at the given address or.....
Robin: connor please save me , connor ( she said while screaming))
The call hung up
Connor was terrified and didn't know what to do
He looked at ava lying on the table with no life and on the other side he could hear screams of Robin
However he decided to help Robin ( yeah seriously) as he thought that Latham was already there . He left the room in a rush without telling anybody what had happened
Latham: hey Connor, where are u going?
Connor didn't reply and in seconds he was out of the hospital
He sat in the car and drove the car to the told address
While Latham was really furious at him, he was the only surgeon in the hospital at that moment and there was no trauma surgeon available but he had to take a quick decision cause Ava's life was at risk. He therefore told maggie abt the situation and a nurse came running to him telling him that Ava's condition was worsening
He rushed back to the hybrid or , took a look at the monitors and decided to start the surgery cause her pulse was becoming weaker and bp was also decreasing and her heart was beating at an irregular rhythm
He asked the nurse for the scalpel and opened her chest, her left atrium was damaged from both sides so her atrium was although receiving blood from the pulmonary vein but most of it wasnt going into the ventricle as some of it was leaking out and the bicuspid valve was also damaged. It was a severe case.
He decided to elevate the heart and then to repair it by putting her heart on bypass machine . He did so but there were many complications ie he blood pressure was rapidly dropping after the heart was elevated . He quickly stapled the atrium from one side but he couldnt get hold of the other side so that he could repair that too as the bullet had made its way around the heart. It took him sometime to do so but he repaired the heart temporarily to stop the bleeding. Then he took out the bullet that was just behind the subclavian vein. It took him 3 hours to do so. While he was doing so dr Lanik arrived to his help and then cut open her abdomen and soon took out the bullet. Then he moved towards the arm and did the same.
The surgeries were successful but they couldn't say that whether they will be able to see Ava alright again or not cuz she had gone through three surgeries st the moment and the chance of her surviving were pretty low and there was a chance that she might suffer from long term heart issue or may be paralysed!
They ordered the nurses to transfer her to the intensive care unit. As they went out of the hybrid room ms. Goodwin was waiting for them. Seeing them come out of the or dr charles also rushed towards them but none of the other doctors was really concerned about Ava ie ethan, will because they always found her very arrogant and they never were good friends but little did they know what she had gone through few years back!
Ms goodwin asked them abt how was Ava. Dr latham didn't respond and then dr Lanik told them that she was in critical condition and there were very little chances for her to recover completely and that she might not ever get up again.
On hearing this she didn't respond and latham and lanik went away. Goodwin said in a low voice I wonder what caused rhodes to leave maybe if he had been her things might haven been a lil different from how they turned out now.
She turned towards Maggie and asked her if she contacted her family members but Maggie told them that they dont know about her family and the emergency number which she had given was unreachable. Then she asked if she knew any of her friends and again Maggie told them that she doesn't, this was a lil saddening and now Dr. Charles started to wonder that there was sth definitely wrong with her and he being physiatrist couldn't figure out abt what she was going through. He questioned himself if he was a good physiatrist ? He couldnt help his fellow colleague
Goodwin had the same thought and left for her office after telling Maggie to inform her if Ava's condition changes
Immediately after that she called the entire staff into her office and asked if anyone knew about Ava's background, any little information but nobody responded and shook their heads. It was a little disheartening that nobody was her friend ! Then she asked them to go back to work.
Then she called jay and asked him to do a favour and bring Ava's phone to her. Jay did so and goodwin checked her contacts and gallery trying to get a lil hint about her background, she knew that invading someone's privacy was wrong but it was required. Her contact list was just the hospital staff .
In the photo gallery she had few pictures with some people which she soon realised were her parents, sister and brother but these pictures were pretty old and there were no recent ones, she then found a note in which Ava wrote about that terrifying incident that turned her life upside down , how she lost her family. Goodwin's eyes welled up with tears after reading that but controlled herself after hearing a knock on the door and then she busied herself in hospital's work and didnt tell anyone about this thing
