"We're gonna be so late." Ian said as he parked in his designated spot on the WB lot.
Lucy smiled in response, "For make-up, relax we don't start shooting scenes till later."
"I just don't like being late," replied, "You're a bad influence."
Lucy raised her eyebrows, "Seriously? You're blaming me for this? You're always late Harding I've lost count of the number of times I've been left twiddling my thumbs because you've been sitting in make-up because you were late."
Ian leaned over and kissed her, "Okay," he said when they pulled apart, "maybe I'm not known for my punctuality it's just everyone is going to jump to conclusions about why we're late."
Lucy shook her head, "They'll be jumping to the right conclusions though, but does it really bother you that people will know?"
Ian thought about it for a moment and realised that he actually didn't care if people knew what he and Lucy had spent the morning doing, "No," he replied truthfully, "I don't. I guess I'm just worried about other stuff."
"Hey," Lucy said placing her hand on top of his reassuringly, "If you're talking about Ezra's secret and what it might mean for him and Aria you have nothing to worry about Ian. We talked about this the other week when we were saying people thought Ezra might be 'A'. Mar knows that you're an integral part of the show, there are fans that stopped reading the books because Ezra left and he was barely in them," she placed a hand on his cheek, "I promise you that you're safe, but if you're worried about being late again I won't seduce you if we're due on set okay?"
Ian laughed gently, "Well I wouldn't go that far. I know I'm being paranoid ..."
Lucy nodded, "Completely, now come on before we're even later."
Ian leaned across the centre console and kissed her again, "Thank you Luce," he said, "for everything."
The day passed by relatively quickly, despite the fact that they both spent a few hours doing ADR which was incredibly boring. They both finished up at a respectable 6:10pm and walked towards the parking lot linking arms as they did so.
"How about we go home, walk Jack then go to that Thai restaurant you like for some dinner?"
"That sounds perfect," Lucy replied, "Should I make a reservation?"
Ian nodded, even though it was only a Monday night the restaurant was only small and had an amazing reputation, there was a chance they may not get a table.
Lucy got her phone out of her jeans pocket and looked at the time, "Shall we say 8.30? That gives us time to change clothes."
Ian nodded again and opened the car door for Lucy before walking around to the driver's side. Lucy was already on the phone with the restaurant when he climbed in.
"Table booked for 8.30," she said as he reversed out of his parking spot.
"Great," Ian replied, "I'm hungry already just thinking about it."
Lucy smiled, "You're always hungry Shmian," she said playfully, "Ooooo I'm gonna get the peanut chicken and jasmine rice."
Ian laughed, "Oh and I'm the one who's always hungry?"
"Ready?" Ian said as Lucy put her phone into her pink studded Rebecca Minkoff bag.
Lucy nodded, "Ready," she replied.
They both said goodbye to Jack who was lying in his bed exhausted from his walk.
They arrived at the restaurant with fifteen minutes to spare and were escorted to the bar area to wait for their table. Once they had got their drinks they settled themselves at a table and looked around. As they had thought the place was packed.
