Y/n POV.
You had been very distant from your girlfriend Lola lately you had been dating on and off for a year and a half it was fun at the start but now it's like there's nothing between you both. Lola knows it too your both just trying to keep each other from one another finding out because you both think your gunna hurt the other. You decide to head on a night out with your friends to relieve some built up stress. Your friends consisted of Nick Jonas, Lauren Jauregui and Billie Eilish. You all headed to emo night as you guys hadn't been in about a year or so with all your busy schedules with both yourself and billie on Tour, Lauren making her album and Nick getting married it was just too hectic to plan a night out.
"Guys I swear I just can't do it with Lola anymore were just not connected like that .. It's like it was a 2 month fling and now I'm a year and a half in and feel trapped" you say taking another shot.
"Dude you gotta break it off .. No point in dragging it out longer only leaves it worse in the long run" Lauren says hugging you. " yeah Laurens right nothing good will come of this so its the right time to leave it behind" Nick says also comforting you while billie orders more shots.
Half way through the night you go to request misery business.
"Yo man any chance of miz biz" you say greeting the DJ.
"Actually it's up next somebody's already request it so your in luck" he smiles back at you. You wonder who the girl is Beside him is with the mic in her hand. It only clicks with you when you've made your way back to your friends that it's Demi Lovato. "Hey guys did you Demi Lovato is here" you say with your eyes lit up. "Oh yeah she always comes down here actually I forgot about that seen as we haven't talked much in a long time" Nick says looking rather upset. "Imma go say wassup" Lauren says once she hears Demi is here. "Hey y/n come with you gotta meet her she's amazing" you follow Lauren by taking her hand. She dragged you through the many bodies dancing on the dance floor. Just as you reach her misery business starts and she beings singing. You knew she could sing but damn her vocals live were like hearing Angels.
You and Lauren both start moshing to your favourite Paramore tune while Demi rocks the song.
When it finishes Lauren reaches Demi and greets her with a hug and introduces you to her.
"Hiiii I'm Demi your y/n right?" She says with a big smile.
"Yup that's me .. Your vocals were sick just there wow" you say smiling back like a fool. You stare at her as she makes conversation with Lauren. She follows you both back to Nick and billie. "Hey Nick how are you man" she looks nervous.
Nick just engulfs her in a hug.
"I'm so glad your okay dem". He nearly starts to cry.
"Wassup love" billie hugs her from behind. Demi hugs her back. Your kinda jealous that she isn't hugging you.
As the night goes on you and Demi have spent a good portion of the night talking about tour and new songs but you can't help but get a warm feeling everytime she smiles at you.
"Can I give you a lift home" you ask her when your saying goodbye to Nick., Lauren and bil getting into a cab. She accepts as soon as you offer. You tell your driver her address. On the journey back to her house she falls asleep on you. You reach her place and she offers you a coffee for the lift you accept. You follow her inside as she's making the coffee you can't help but find yourself falling for her.
"Can I be honest with you Demi..." You look at her.
"Of course haha what is it y/n" she gives you a soft look.
"When you went into hospital and rehab I actually couldn't leave my phone down I was really worried about you I know I didn't know you at the time I just couldn't help but feel really worried" you say looking at your feet. She makes her way to you slowly.
"That's really sweet y/n" she puts her hands on your face and leans in to place her lips on yours. You feel the heat and intensity you wrap your arms around her waist and deepen the kiss. You can break away from her lips it's like your glued together she doesn't want it to stop either. After about 10 minuets of solid making out your phone buzzes.
