As soon as I wake up my room is so cold. Its very early. I look over to see my windows are wide open. I know I didn't open them. I get up to shut them and as I do I hear a voice from behind me.

"So you're the fresh meat." I turned around startled. It was the voice of a guy, not very tall with dark black hair and insane white tips. He was very pail and looked....dead.

I stood in silence just watching him. "Not very talkative I see. I like that." he steps closer. "It means I don't have to cover your mouth." his smile is sick and twisted. Fear rushed over me and I know if I didn't move I would die.

I ducked under his arm and ran out the door screaming for help. I can hear him close behind. Tears are in my eyes as he grabs my arm. He slung me against the wall and pinned me there. "Please stop." I cried but he ignored me. He tucked his head in my neck and it felt like if been cut by a razor.

I winced in pain. Tears raced down my face. My vision narrowed. This is it. I'm going to die here. This is the end of me I thought.

All of a sudden someone appeared behind him. He lifted him of me and threw him down the hall. I couldn't move. There was no feeling in my legs. The stranger and my attacker fight. My attacker throws a punch but the stranger catches his fists and I can hear the bones in his hand brake with a series of crunching sounds. He screamed in pain and ran off quickly.

Then the stranger picked me up. "It was foolish to come here but how could you have known. These people arnt who you think they are. There monsters. Disgusting creatures. Lust for blood and souls. I advise you to leave before they kill you."

He lays me on my bed. Then he put roserays on the windows and lined the bed with salt. I felt blood dripping from my neck. He saw that and came close to bandage me. Now I could see him clearer. His hair was a light brown and eyes are a greenish gray. He had some scars mostly on his hands.

He said he was going to sit with me and watch to make sure nothing happens. "I don't want you getting attacked again but if you turn I will have to kill you." I stare at him afraid. "T-turn into what?" "A vampire."

I was so confused. I never thought vampires were real. This is all crazy. I must be dreaming. This is all a crazy nightmare. I kept crying.

The room fell silant and I waited until eight AM to get up. I was able to stand again. The stranger watched me clutching a wooden stake. He was prepared to shove it through my heart if he thought I was a vampire. I need to get ready for class and I can leave tomorrow. "I think I should get dressed for class now. I plan to leave this place tomorrow though."

He didn't even move. "Go ahead. I have to make sure you don't turn." he said. I was so embarrassed. "You don't have to watch me get dressed." I assured him but he didn't move. "Actually I do. At any given moment you could become a blood thirsty beast.

I turn away from him getting as much privacy as possible. I pulled off my shirt and used it to cover my chest. I look back at him. He's unfazed. I put on a knee length pink dress and pull my pyjama shorts off from under it. Then I turned around and face him.

Then we gets up. "I think you're ok. You show no signs of being one of them." I cross my arms annoyed. "You couldn't have determined that before I got undressed." he shrugged. "Sorry but I expected more of a show." he grinned a bit. My face turned bright red. "I was just attacked by some crazy guy and you tried to use me for entertainment. I bet that guy wasn't even a vampire. You're such a creep." I shouted leaving the room. He tried calling after me but I lost him in the busy hall way. I went to an adviser. They gave me a list of my classes.

I had to rush to the first one. It was odd though it was physical arts. I suppose it's a gymnastics class or something like that.

As I walked through the door I saw people congregating mostly in groups. It was a very large class room but not really a gym. It smells of clay and paint. I didn't see a teacher anywhere.

However I did see people staring at me. They whisper. I guess they are confused since I'm so new. I a little surprised because no other new person came to the school. Maybe no one else could get in. If that's the case I feel very talented but I hope that won't get to my head. I don't want to be vane.

Every one seems to be getting closer to me but slowly. I'm getting a really bad vibe from them and I don't know why but I feel I should be running.

Then from nowhere I feel a hand on my shoulder. I turn around and push it off my almost screaming.

Luckly it was just Dakota. He looked confused at what I just did. "Hey there jumpy." I swear I could ha e huvged him in that moment. "It's been a long morning. I was attacked by some crazy guy and then another guy saved me but he kept saying crazy stuff about vampires and-" "listen I need you to tell me what that guy look like. The one that told you about vampires." "um brown hair, green eyes and some scars. Why?" "I need to deal with something" he muttered walking away.

As soon as he left the room I could feel the eyes of everyone staring at me again. And I could feel them closing in.
