I'm so sorry for the long wait. I'm not happy with this chapter but hopefully the next one will be better.

Jimin yawned, eyes hurting from looking at the desktop for too long. Not to mention, his bottom was sore from siting in the swivel chair.
He looked out the window and gave a sad smile. I want to play outside, but Daddy won't let me. Says I'll get sick if I play in the rain.
It was softly raining outside, the perfect time for him and Namjoon to build forts and cuddle but here he was, learning about consonants and double consonants.
Jimin's pudgy fingers tapped against the arm rest of the chair out of boredom. There were a million things he could be doing right now. Like drawing or playing Mario Kart! Or getting more sleep..
Jimin took online school, Namjoon thought it was the best way to get his education. One on one learning with a teacher. He only wanted to help Jimin out the best he could. Sometimes, he would even try to teach Jimin English.
Namjoon stayed in the room Jimin was learning at, just to make sure he was taking notes and not falling asleep. Even if most kids his age got up earlier, that doesn't mean he couldn't be tired as well.
He huffed louder, eyes drooping a little. His hair was still unkept due to waking up early. "Can I take a break?" Jimin spun the wheeled chair to face Namjoon.
Namjoon looked at his watch. "It's only been like 15 minutes Baby, do fifteen more and then we can do a break."
Namjoon was doing work of his own. He worked on statistics and analytics in an office. Nothing exciting, just lots of numbers and arithmetic. However, it was enough to spoil his son.
He was calculating the difference in percentage of people who join the gym from the beginning of the year to the upcoming end of it. Very exciting, note the sarcasm.
Jimin rolled his eyes, Namjoon only catching it from the corner of his eye. "Watch it, Jimin." He gives him a pointed look.
Jimin was acting up today, for some odd reason. Complained waking up, although that's a constant. Groaned when Namjoon gave him cereal, which he usually loved. Making snarky comments and overall was just being snotty.
Jimin turns back to the computer and looks at it with an empty feeling. He huffs again and rests his head against the palm of his hand.
"I want to go to school."
"You're doing school right now Jimin, please work. You're doing good." Namjoon continued looking at his son. He could see the stress bunched in his shoulders.
"Can I at least change subjects?" Jimin asked, not even looking back at Namjoon. He just wanted for it to be over; today was english and math.
"Fine but you have to go back to it later," Namjoon hummed, flipping the pack of papers to reveal a chart: Missing Cases since 2000.
He had to take the numbers and convert them into percentage of each region. Nothing difficult, almost a bore to him.
He started working quickly, wanting to get his work done. If they could both finish in the morning, they'd have the whole afternoon together.
"Can I go to a real school?" Jimin asked hopelessly. He wanted to play at the playground with friends and learn with them. He wanted to be like the actors and actresses he saw on tv.
"No Jimin, please stop distracting me from my work."
In the background, he could hear Jimin groaning. Namjoon couldn't see him but he could tell tears of frustration were bubbling in the corners of his eyes.
He felt bad but wanted Jimin to try it out on his own first. Needed to try to understand on his own.
Jimin bit his lip, wincing at the force of it. He couldn't see the screen anymore due to the tears threatening to fall. He was just so frustrated.
Not just on the schoolwork, no definitely not. He wished he could be free. It felt like he was on constant watch. He loved his father's attention but it was just overwhelming.
"I wanna go to a public school." Jimin pouted. Namjoon didn't even respond this time.
It was like he was a child! And he is not a child. He's sick of feeling alone but there's nowhere else to turn to. His emotions were angry bubbling in his body. He didn't know how to control it, so he did what he could, yell.
Startling Namjoon, Jimin yelled at the top of his lungs. "I hate school! It's stupid, I want to go to real school and have friends my age. It's so annoying being trapped in this stupid house with you."
He was trying to hold back his tears. I just want to have fun. I'm so unhappy. He wiped his nose with the back of his hand.
Jimin pushed the chair out of the way with his chair and slapped the desk. "Jimin, calm down before I have to punish you." Namjoon's voice was steady over Jimin's tantrum. Jimin couldn't hear them, too busy shouting.
"Let me go! I Wanna go!"
"No Jimin, stop complaining. You're doing online school. Now stop acting like a child and continue working. I expect an apology letter as well for that attitude of yours."
"You're so mean! I hate you!" Jimin screamed out, leaving the house silent from the outburst. Jimin's breath hitched when he saw his dad's fuming face.
The comment had stabbed his heart. Namjoon cared about Jimin so much "I work my ass off for you and here you are being a brat?! Is that how you treat your father?" Jimin sobbed, not even looking at his dad.
"Is this how I raised you?! I am so disappointed in you. Go to your room!" Namjoon points into the direction of Jimin's room. "D-Dad. Please." Jimin shook his head. How could he do that to his dad.
"Now Jimin, or else no electronics for a week." Jimin Looked at Namjoon with sorrowful eyes. "I-I'm sorry. I'm just upset." Jimin ran to his room before he could break down again. The door slammed behind him and he jumped onto his bed.
He couldn't stop the tears now.
Namjoon was left alone in the living room, unsure. This was the first time Jimin's really acted out.. he'll have to be firmer with the rules.
