I'm surprised no one mentioned this earlier.

*ahem* STORY TIME-

So, as we all know Lams is the #1 Hamilton ship because a) it may have been historically accurate and b) read a).

Here's my honest opinion:

When I first got into Hamilton, this ship was my second, not to long at all after Hamburr (because of an animatic, don't ask-).

It soon became my first because everyone made it seem so awesome, and like all newbies, I got sucked into researching the letters.

I was like OMG YES HOE LAMS IS THE WAY THE TRUTH AND THE LIFE!

I read fanfics on it, looked at fanart and so many other things related to it and I could've sworn I was satisfied.

However, time went on, and I made a few observations. Lams was VERY popular indeed. So popular to the point when I witnessed fights and arguments in comments (on places other than Wattpad) about this particular ship.

I personally don't like seeing other people fight about something that isn't worth fighting over, and I didn't think this ship was something worth fighting over.

I also saw other ships, and I slowly drew away from the Lams Fandom (yes, it's pretty much a Fandom within a Fandom). I didn't really read on it that much and it didn't really appeal to me so much anymore.

I mean, I still shipped it but it was no longer in my top 3.

To this day, I of course still see it around and look at it sometimes and maybe slip it into my stories, but it isn't really my favourite.

In summary, I think it's a 5/10 for me.

You can hate me for that, but hey, it's my opinion, you have yours.
