I'M HERE TO DISCUSS THE #HAMILFILM
If you haven't watched it- well, there's no spoilers pEr sE but I comment on notable things.

OKAYOKAYOKAY-
I watched it on Friday (early Saturday morning, actually because who needs sleep-) and WOWOWOWOW I absolutely LOVED it!! I knew I would and I watched it again on Saturday evening and I'm gonna watch it a million more times-
If you're wondering what this is about, its just opinions/comments on the production! You can agree/disagree if you like - I just put it in here because I figured a lot of people look at this book-
P.s. I'm an actor so excuse me if I get a bit Smart Alec about stuff-
Without further ado, I shall now begin-

• My first comment is on the FACIAL EXPRESSIONS, I noticed them especially with Oak and that's good because it engages the audience

• The energy throughout was just PHENOMENAL

• Principal roles are amazing, but in my honest opinion, the chorus makes it SO much more entertaining!! And its great how everyone was in character all the time, even the unnamed characters. Because with acting, it doesn't matter who you are, every character is valid and has their own back story - it just brings the atmosphere to life. There's a thing called the "fourth wall", you may have heard it, it relates to novels as well - basically (in this case) there's the world of the play/movie (ie what's happening onstage/on camera etc.) and then the outside world (ie the audience/viewers) who are separated by an invisible wall, and so the term to "break the fourth wall" means you've erased that barrier by looking directly into an audience members eyes/looking directly into the camera. That's obviously not always a bad thing, but there was none of that here.

• I noticed wherever you look on the screen, especially in larger musical numbers, something is always happening

• UM THE WHOLE CAST IS H O T-

• I just thought I'd say KGIII is PSYCHOTIC

• Renée Elise voice got me C R Y I N H especially in Satisfied and It's Quiet Uptown as well as Leslie Odom Jr. voice which I could listen to all yEARRR BRUH

• LAF X MULLIGAN HIP THRUST IN STORY OF TONIGHT REPRISE SPIYJKHIKBSEFVBSUKZKSB

• GAYGAYGAY- (you can interpret that how you want I refuse to specify-)

• The dancers in Hurricane, like when they first come onstage, they kinda move like zombies and I found that interesting because it could link to the whole "I imagine death so much it feels more like a memory" ie Hamilton feels immortal, like he keeps coming back to life and all his life he "couldn't seem to die" which fits because that's what Hurricane is all about.

• CAN I JUST HUG THEM AL L PLS

• I'm sure most of you can agree on this: Pippa's overall performance was I👏M👏M👏A👏C👏U👏L👏A👏T👏E. I can't even explain. Her and Leslie both. You can tell her character was well developed and she had so much feeling and wasn't just PLAYING Elizabeth Hamilton, she WAS Elizabeth Hamilton and man I strive to be like that. Same with Leslie as Burr and, in fact, all of them did exceptionally well.

Lin-Manuel Miranda is a DAMN GENIUS and I'm not even shocked that he's created such an extraordinary masterpiece which has changed the meaning of Broadway theatre forever and changed so many people's lives.

And I guess that's all I have for now, please feel free to add on, thanks for staying to hear me rant 😂😂😊💜
