ok, jokes aside.

let me explain why we are all traumatised.

so at some time today, a group of year 7s (or 11/12 year olds) were walking out to the woods in the school.

as they were walking, they encountered a man that started swearing at them to "get out of the fucking woods" whilst waving a knife in front of them.

the kids ran away and then the news spread across the school and by the time it had got to me, it was the end of the day.

now, my mother is on this groupchat that's specifically for parents of children going to my school, and a lot of the parents on this chat we're discussing how their child had encountered the man with the knife.

right now, there are police at the school and every teacher is barricading the doors to the school just in case the man tries to get into the school.

what's worse is that they haven't found a trace of the man yet, and assuming as there is no fence at the end of the woods, this man could return soon for all we know.

as you can tell, everyone is in a state of panic, especially me, who has been on the verge of crying almost 10 times since it happened. this is because i JOKED about this to my friend earlier, thinking it was all a fake rumour.

im disgusted in myself as much as i am with the man.

im sorry that i have to force this all on you guys, but i knew that i would most probably end up harming myself if i didn't tell people about this, especially me joking about the situation.

i may not be online for a while because i need to calm myself down, but this may be only for tonight.
