Pain - part 2

When they got a call from the hospital the next morning for them to come in to say they were anxious would be an understatement it's just that some of them were better at hiding it than others.

When they reached the reception they weren't suprised to find the other couple already there.

"Why can't you just be his doctor Haruto it would stop me worrying so much plus your the best doctor in Japan!" The woman who's name they had learned was Mihoko asked the male that was with her yesterday.

He gave a big sigh and rubbed his temple as if he had explained this multiple times before patiently explaining "Because Mihoko I can't just take over another doctors patient without them having asked me that's rude and even if I did I wouldn't be able to with this particular case you know it's a rule that your not allowed to have a patient that's related to you"

She brang her hand to her face and started kneeling her palms over her eyes saying "I'm sorry Haruto it's just that I'm worried"

Haruto bent down so he was face to face with her before grabbing her hands to bring it down so he could look into her eyes and then gently grabbed her face with one hand"Hey hey it's ok I understand it's hard and your looking for different solutions to help him"

She gave him a gentle smile putting her hands on top of his own but the moment was broken when a cough was heard from behind them.

Mihoko startled by this dropped his hand and upon realizing that they were still in a public place flushed lightly in embarrassment on the contrary Haruto seemed uneffected.

"Mihoko and Haruto Hitoshi? I've come with news of Shinsou Hitoshi and Todoroki Shouto. Is Rei and Enji Todoroki here?" The nurse asked looking up from the board they were currently holding.

"Yes!" Mihoko exclaimed pulling her and her husband a little closer to the nurse.

Upon noticing the couple making their way over the nurse turned her head to them and continued on "I'm assuming your Rei and Enji Todoroki?"

Rei nodded her head while Enji gave a gruff hum of confirmation.

The nurse gave a smile before motioning for them to follow her.

Mihoko startled by this dropped his hand and upon realizing that they were still in a public place flushed lightly in embarrassment on the contrary Haruto seemed uneffected.

"Mihoko and Haruto Hitoshi?"

"Yes!" Mihoko exclaimed forgetting all about her flustered state as she grabed her husband's hand and pulled them both a little closer to the nurse.

"I've come with news of Shinsou Hitoshi and Todoroki Shouto. Is Rei and Enji Todoroki here?" The nurse asked looking up from the board they were currently holding.

Upon noticing the couple making their way over the nurse turned her head to them and continued on "I'm assuming your Rei and Enji Todoroki?"

Rei nodded her head while Enji gave a gruff hum of confirmation.

The nurse gave a smile before motioning for them to follow her.

As they walked down the white halls that smelled of cleaning supplies Rei couldn't help but remember the doctors words from yesterday when he had said he would call them back if anything happens.

Worry gripped her heart as she thought of all the possible reasons why they would be called back so soon she just hoped it was a good one.

After going through countless other hallways and doors they finally reached their destination.
