Destroy All Vampires|||Edgar Frog

Preparations

"Are you sure you're alright, Sidney? You look shook up." Edgar and I were over at my house. He had just got all of the vampire's blood out of his hair. We were situated together on the couch.

"I'm scared. I don't wanna die tonight. I don't want anyone to die tonight." Edgar pulled me into a hug. "It's going to be okay. Trust me. If we all stick together, we'll kill all those bloodsuckers."

He kissed my forehead softly and laid his head on mine. We stayed like this for about five minutes, then I pulled away. "I guess we should get ready then."

"Guys, we're on our own." Sam came out of Max's video store, failing to get his mom on our side. "Good," Edgar said, "just how we like it." We all rode our bikes away from the shop and to a nearby church to get some holy water.

Of course, there was a baptism going on. I awkwardly stood there while the boys filled their canteens with holy water. Before we left, Alan gave a 'thanks' gesture to the congregation.

Back at Sam's house, he made sure to get his grandpa out of the house for the night. It worked, and we heard his horn go off, signaling his departure.

I helped Sam crush some garlic and put it in the tub of holy water. We all filled up water guns with the holy water and tested them out. Alan jokingly sprayed a little water on my face and I laughed out loud, causing Edgar to jealously glare at Alan.

Very soon it got dark. All of us sat around the dining room table and talked. "I think I should warn you all, when a vampire buys it, it's never a pretty sight. No two bloodsuckers go out the same way. Some yell and scream, some go quietly, some explode, some implode. But all will try to take you with them."

I tried to get my anxiety under control. Suddenly, Sam remembered his dog was outside. "Nanook!" He ran outside. I tried to grab him, but he outran me and left all of us yelling to him to hurry.

Out of nowhere, Star yelled. "Michael they're coming!" Sam was halfway to the house when I freaked out and ran inside. Edgar came after me. "Babe, it's alright! Stay with me, Sidney. Okay?" All I could do was nod. I was scared to death at this point.
