Fate

Lights began to flicker as Rey cried and screamed in pain. Ben tried to calm her down but nothing he could do would help her. Her face was turned up as she screamed and reached for her miscarried fetus. "It's alive, Ben. It has to be!"
He grabbed her and held her. "No, Rey. It's gone. We have to face reality."
She twisted out of his grasp and stormed out of the bedroom. Ben heard the sound of her saber lighting up and his eyes widened. "Look, Rey, we have to stay cal-"
A scream broke off his sentence. "It's Rey!" A trooper shouted as the smell of burned flesh filled the air.
Ben raced after her. He found her in the engineering bay screaming at troopers. They cowered away from her as her force shook the mechanics. Hux rushed to him. "Control her!" He shouted.
Ben backhanded Hux on the face. He hit the floor and touched his face. "Can't you see I'm trying!"
Rey turned to him and watched as Hux tried to get up. "She's a traitor! She betrayed the Resistance, who knows if she'll betray the First Order or not?!"
Rey took off her crown and threw it at Hux. It hit him in the side of his face and he screamed from surprise and pain. Troopers rushed out of the room. Rey grabbed her crown and stuck out her hand. She grasped his neck with the force and squeezed. His neck broke with a clean snap and he crumpled into a ball on the floor. Ben's mouth was open as he stared at Hux's body.
"About time." He said quietly before walking to Rey. "Darling, you have to get through this without hurting people. We can get through this. Look at the light." She turned off her saber and looked up. The lights were swaying heavily. "You're doing this."
She started crying again and collapsed into his arms. "I just want a family! I want to be in a galaxy where I'm safe and home."
"I wish I could have the power to make a galaxy just for us." He whispered to her.
She looked up at him and said one word before passing out, "Fate."
