The sound village was a fairy quiet place , no one really talked to papa or me but I didn't mind ! It was better to be ignored then to be pushed around . I still don't know why Otōsan lets them get away with treating him like dirt which is crazy because he's an amazing ninja! but he says it's because of mama's genes . I inherited papas dark hair and mama's yellow eyes . So, you could say I stand out ! Well In the sound village anyways .. everyone here has dark eyes and dark hair .. although I haven't met mama everyone seemed to know her .. however I'm sure she dealt with being different too .. But it's not like I'm lonely I have Otosan ! So I'll be okay .. or at least I thought I would be ..

It was on my fifth birthday when I was coming home from the library to see a bunch of villagers outside my home .. they were screaming and yelling at Papa . It was really scary , but it got worse when he started arguing back .. that's how I knew it was serious !

"Papa!" I cried out as someone grabbed me from behind . Picking me up from my ankles making my hair flow down towards my face .

"Aka- put my daughter down Sao-sama" his deep voice shouted pushing people out his way . Sao-Sama? The chief ? Ouch! His grip started to tighten as his nails started breaking through my skin . Tears perked into my eyes as I started thrashing to get to my father . As my dad started approaching us pure fear shot through my entire body as I saw a man sneaking up on my dad .

"PA-" Sao-Sama lowered my feet quickly making my face smash into the ground , causing me to let out a cry . I looked up seeing Otōsan fight off three men , making me clench my eyes In fear .

"Are you scared little monster?" Sao-Sama's crazed voice called out shaking me . "Let me tell you the reason why we are here -and what you are"

"Stop Sao! " papas voice mixed with the clash of metal as his Kunai smacked against one of the multiple on coming men.

"Along time ago a woman was birthed from the gods , Her name was Eurydice, and she and had fell in love with a ninja. They loved each other very much. Sadly, one day, while walking through some high grass, a serpent bit her on the ankle, and she died. Her soul descended immediately to the underworld. In his sadness, Her fiancé composed such mournful melodies that all the animals and Gods wept. They advised him to descend to Hades to bring his wife back from the dead. He did so – Hades and his wife Persephone were so moved that they agreed to let him return with his wife on one condition – that he turn his back and walk all the way back to the surface without looking at her. However the man filled with greed and worry for the return of his wife turned around . Betraying hades , when he did it's said a gate opened for the man of all the knowledge In the world .. however it all quickly ended when the woman vanished this time permanently her soul being consumed and left to suffer in the depths of hell .. his foolish actions granting him immunity to age .. and a child . A demon child who was the gate of knowledge , and the soul consumer of her mother .. it's said her kekki genkai is so strong she harbors a type of Kekki mora .. for she's a god or demon who steals the power from those she slays , gains immortality from the soul she consumes , and is the karma for bad luck . " the man laughed madly at my confused expression.

"W-" I was cut off

"You're the demon child Aka a cursed soul!." My eyes widened

"Every time your memories return Mr Akio over there has been sealing them back . Only keeping you around in the hopes that one day in his centuries of living that he will possibly find a way to extract your soul or rather the one of his deceased wife" he began to laugh like a manic as I started to scream .
