reunited! And surprise!

Aka's POV

"Please wake up"

Pressure was placed on my hand and a tight squeeze to my palm brought me to my senses.

What the hell?

I tried to move ,but my body remained resistant. Slowly I once again tried, only for my finger tips to flinch.

"Aka?!"a unregistered voice spoke "h-hold on I'll get the doctor!" As the comfort from the hand left , the gab was filled with dark unsettling isolation.

"N-no" my horse voice crooked out.
My skull was throbbing, and my throat was dry. With all the energy I had in my body I fought to open my eyes. Only to quickly shut them back , groaning at the intense light. I shook my head before trying to lift myself up.

"Hey! Stop moving" the now shockingly familiar person said placing their own hand down on my arm. "You know , your Ojīchan has been very worried" I finally opened my eyes to reveal Kakashi.

"Kash-" I abruptly started coughing , and flung my hand up to my mouth. Red liquid flew into my palm , discoloring the skin.

"Shit Aka!" Kakashi's worried voice said trying once again to leave my side , only for me to stop him . I latched my hand to his sleeved shirt , and pointed to the sink with the other.
"W-water ? You want water , okay.." he said rushing to fill and hand me the decanter filled with water. Greedily I chugged it down in gulps. Soothing my inflamed throat , and handing the empty glass back.

"I-I'm fine , just alittle light headed .. no need for a doctor okay?"

"But Aka-"

"No Kakashi-San" his eyes slanted as he looked at me, before sitting down next to me once more

"I swear if it happens again I'm going to get someone."

"Thanks Kakashi-San but you really don't have too .." I said shyly

"Stop with the San Teme, and what the hell was that ! You had a Kekkei Genkai ? Like this whole time?" I flung my hand over his mouth and formed a sh sign. "Okay okay I'll stop yelling " he said pushing my hand away

"Yeah.. anyways how long have I been out , my legs are cramping "

"About two days now, you over Exhausted your body . I believe the doctor said I've never seen such a young ninja with such low chakra " I examined his still roughed up clothes

"Kakashi-San"

"Just Kakashi or kashi .. you know like a nickname " both of our cheeks heated up before I continued.

"Ka-kashi .." I bit my lip "have you been with me this whole time ?" His eyes looked away from me ."Kakashi.." I said in a fairly melancholy way " you do care ."

"Huh wait , what is that suppose to mean Baka !" His face flung back to look at my own.

"Aye your acting like Obito-Chan now " laughing I sat up more using my shoulders for support .

"Ugh , I do care and don't compare me to that idiot " he said crossing his arms "what would make you think I didn't "

"What would make me think you did" his eyes widened "ever since .. you know .. nothing has been the same , you don't talk to me , hang out with me, and you're always mad"

"Well I don't mean to be okay " he said roughly, tears filled my eyes "no Aka don't cry I didn't mean to say it like that?!" He stood up hovering over me

"Kakashi Baka it's not like that "I sniffed wiping my face with my arm "it's just for the longest time . I thought you were gone no nothing .. no more chats , no more fun breakfasts , no more races , no more best friend time "

"I'll change I promise .. I don't want to keep closing everybody out " he hugged me "specially not you , you have been here with me longer than anyone .. I should have never treated you like this . You deserve a better friend.."

Kakashi POV

Slowly I turned off the light finally leaving the tiny bathroom. Turning the corner I ran straight into a figure

"What-" I looked down at the stumbling dark headed girl "aka? What are you doing up so soon ?!" Grumbling she mentioned something about bathing. "Aka you only got released yesterday , you really need to call for me- someone I mean someone.. to help you" I coughed out nervously. She lifted her head giving me a sad smile.

"I don't want to bother you or anyone else kashi.." she pushed her hands onto the wall for support. Sighing I grabbed her arms and slipped my leg underneath hers , gracefully lifting her up bridal style. "KA-KAKASHHIII??" She shouted

"Shut up Baka you'll wake up the neighbors, and they will get the wrong idea" she blushed while I looked away, walking to the bathroom. "Do you-"

"No no.. I got it from here, thank you. I'll call you when I'm ready, we have our meeting with The hokage soon right?"

"Hai" I turned around walking away . Leaving my thoughts to wonder just what that old man could want. As if the world heard my thoughts smoke filled the living room , leaving the man himself. "H-hokage-sama" I respectfully said dropping down to a knee.

"Hatake-San, we are having some war issues. And with the increased problems and greater losses of our forces , combined with the great attributes you and Aka have shown." I turned around now noticing the small girls head peeking from the doorway." I would like to personally tell you , congratulations for passing the exams my children however I bid a higher praise for the new promotion of Johnin." My eyes widened and I heard Aka nod her head humming before walking to stand by my side.

"Thank you Ojīchan, congratulations Kakashi" her grin heated up my face. Coughing away my embarrassment I nodded.

"Thank you hokage-Sama, and congratulations to you too Aka."
