(Re)Matchmaker

Kobayashi PoV
It was Saturday and I was at our usual dance room for dance practice with the rest of our group ENDO. I was bringing Takiya withe me since he insisted but I also brought Tohru too... I can't trust her in the house on her own. that girl is a nightmare but I learn to deal with it.
Tohru: Kobayashi?
Kobayashi: Yeah...
Tohru glared at Takiya.
Tohru: Why is he here!?
Kobayashi: Why can't he be here?
Takiya: if I'm causing any trouble then I don't mind leaving...
Tohru: Yes please do so!
Kobayashi: No no no! Nobody is leaving! I brought you both here cuz I want you both to get along and also see us practice perform.
Tohru and Takiya: *sigh* Fine...
Just then I see Y/N, Monika, Midnight and the other 3 girls walk through the door.
Kobayashi: Hey guys!
All of them: Heyyy!
Tohru: Monika! Finally someone I can talk too while our lovers practice!
Monika: *giggles* hello to you too Tohru!
I watch as Monika sits next to Tohru on a chair after kissing Y/N in the cheek.
Y/N: Where's my hello Tohru?
Tohru: Oh hi Y/N san! Sorry!
Y/N: It's ok I was only kidding.
I patiently tap my foot on the ground as I wait for the others to arrive.

Timeskip
We soon begin to practice the choreography with the rest of the group. We soon after moved onto our instruments, Me and Y/N being on the guitar and Midnight on keyboard. Meanwhile I was too invested in my performance to notice the argument in the background.
Tohru: Kobayashi will always be mine ok! Back off Takiya!
Takiya: I'm not looking to take her anyway! My eyes are on Fafnir!
Monika: Guys lets all calm down!
Our song soon ends.
Y/N: What's going on here!?
Kobayashi: Explanations please!
Tohru: Don't worry my precious Kobayashi! I'm just making sure your mine!
Yuri: But I think you were taking it a bit too far Tohru...
Kobayashi: For God's sakes Tohru!! You're always so overprotective!
Tohru: I'm only trying to maintain our relationship honey!
Kobayashi: You know what Tohru if you're gonna be like this I don't think I want this relationship anymore! We're over!
I storm out hardly being able to look at anyone.

Y/N PoV
I watch Kobayashi walk out and look back to see Tohru in waterfalls of tears. She too scurries out.
Takiya: Well I'll be leaving...
He leaves without another word.
Lucoa: Sis...
Mars: It'll blow over by tomorrow...probably.
I glance at Monika to see her slightly taken aback by what just happened.
Y/N: I'll go after Kobayashi
Monika: I'll go after Tohru
Natsuki: This is pathetic. I only came here to watch Y/N be a dancing monkey! I'm only kidding...
Yuri: Natsuki!
Sayori: Well good luck trying to get them back together!
Todoroki: guess you could call it Rematchmaking!
I smile slightly before running off to find Kobayashi.

Timeskip 2
I find her in a park by herself on a bench. I sigh before marching towards her.
Y/N: hey man...
Kobayashi: leave me alone...
I sit beside her.
Y/N: I know you didn't mean that.
Kobayashi: mean what?
Y/N: Everything.
Kobayashi: Y/N you're not gonna change anything...me and Tohru are finished.
Y/N: that's not true...I wasn't born yesterday. You love Tohru and I know you can't hate her just like that.
Kobayashi: Well people change!
Y/N: Not that quickly they don't! Look Kobayashi everyone messes up and this happens to be one of those times. Tohru is just one of those people that care about you dearly and although she shouldn't have invaded your life like that. She will come around eventually. You need her and she needs you.
Kobayashi: You sure?
Y/N: As positive as Monika's attitude towards everything!
Kobayashi: I guess you're right. I shouldn't have snapped at her as much as I did. I need to find her and apologise.
Y/N: That's the spirit! Come let's go! I'll help you find her!

Monika PoV
I walk through town when I hear quiet and muffled sobbing in a nearby alleyway.
Monika: Tohru?
Tohru: Monika please don't come near me! I deserve this.
Monika: Tohru come out you don't deserve this! Kobayashi just felt violated by your actions but she'll forgive you! She loves you.
Tohru: How?! She never shows me her affection as much as I show mine! Maybe it's better if this way...
Monika: Tohru you can't mean that! I know how much Kobayashi means to you and you won't let her go like this. You know her better than anyone and although I haven't been here for very long, I can tell kobayashi is a very secretive person and isn't used to flaunting affection towards another person. But what I know for sure is, even if she can't show it, you mean a lot to her and she appreciates your company so leaving her will not have a positive impact in her.
I soon see Tohru's figure emerge from the darkness of the alleyway.
Tohru: I guess you're right. Thank you so much Monika!
She hugs me and I hug her back.
Monika: Anytime! That's what friends are for right?
Tohru: Right!
Just then we hear Kobayashi and Y/N yelling our names in the distance.
Both: Tohru!!!! Monika!!!!
I smile and wrap my arms around Y/N and hug her from the side as we watch Kobayashi and Tohru make it up to each other.
Kobayashi: Tohru I'm so sorry for what I said earlier. I didn't mean any of it. You mean a lot to me and I don't want to lose you.
Tohru: I'm sorry too Kobayashi! I need to learn to give you some space. I love you!
They both lock each other on a tight embrace.
I glance at Y/N who is smiling like an idiot. I peck her lips.
Monika: You are such a doofus!
Y/N: Why thank you mi'lady
I giggle as her and I head back to the rest of the group along with Kobayashi and Tohru.

What a day.
