Patton sighed as he rummaged through his bag, how could he have been so careless as to forget the one thing he needed for his class? He forgot his pen! How was he supposed to take notes? He needed it!
He sighed and looked around him, eyes settling on one specific school-oriented student, who always seemed to have a spare pen, since he hated when people disrupted the class. In all honesty, Patton had had a crush on him for a while now, and this was the perfect chance to talk to him.
He leaned over and tapped the male on the shoulder, smiling softly when he looked over.
"Sorry to be a bother," he started, tapping his finger on his desk lightly. "But may I please borrow a pen?" He wasn't sure what made him so uncomfortable about being around Logan, but he certainly made his heart race.
"I do believe I have a spare." Logan turned to his bag and pulled out both a pen and a pencil. "Which is your preference?"
"A pen." Patton giggled softly, taking the writing utensil from him, feeling slight sparks as his fingers brushed against Logan's hand.
"Say, I know it's out of line, and we do not know one another too well, but would you be opposed to joining me on a small outing to the local coffee shop this Friday?"
"I wouldn't be opposed at all." Patton smiled, returning to his desk with the knowledge of a date with his crush in mind, and a smile he was unable to wipe off his face for the rest of the day.
